Stayed here at a powered campsite for a few days in early Jan 26. Absolutely fantastic campsite - best one we've stayed in! The campsite itself was so lovely, sheltered by hedges on three sides so it felt very private. The view out to the water was incredible!nThe grounds were really well maintained and very peaceful - few cheeky pukeko here and there.nThe facilities were awesome - great kitchen, the bathrooms were shower and toilet combined - very clean, private, and great water pressure on the shower!
One of the few places in New Plymouth to stay that is waterfront!nThe views and sound of the ocean was so magical and soothing. We slept so well and felt recharged from the ocean sound.nOutdoor bath was a treat sitting watching the ocean.nBeds were so comfortable.nNice to have a self contained spot with home comforts.nWheelchair access.nThe bathroom is a bit worn but still nice.nGood location to be close to everything - beaches, Proof and a Stock, the local Pool, town.nHighly recommend and will definitely be back!
This is a fabulous camp ground. Lovely friendly staff, excellent communal facilities and the location is great. Camp sites have some very good views, walk way is by the entrance, and there is an access way down to marina area. Highly recommend
We loved it here. The view from the powered site was great!nWell established land with trees and hedges for privacy. Close to amenities. Clean facilities. Friendly staff member. Great Spa area with wide opening window for natural breeze. We will be back!
Our family of 4 have a huge tent and after booking a site that was too small, the team at Belt Road quickly let us know and went above and beyond to ensure we would have a site that fit our requirements. The campground is in a great spot enjoying beautiful ocean views. We made the most of having the jetty and coastal walkway on our doorstep. The amenities were functional and kept clean and tidy at all times. We all loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back to Belt Road next time we are in Taranaki.
