Basic camping in a stunning location. There is a toilet block, that's the only facility. The coastline is rapidly eroding away so get in quick if you want to stay here. Much of the track to the beach has collapsed onto the beach.
Came camping here for a couple of nights absolutely beautiful views and great waves couldn’t help myself but constantly wanting to be in the water. Is a bit of a walk back up to the car park especially when taking all of the camping gear to and from camp site.
One of the favourite freedom camping spots i have stayed at. The facilities aren't too bad and there's a spot to wash dishes etc between the toilet and the changing room. Seriously beautiful and the water is worth a morning dip too!
Beautiful place. Might want to have a good level of fitness as you have to leave your car in car park and walk down step hill to camp site.
Hidden surprise at end of road. Toilets but difficult to get down to beach. The sea has eroded the path ways down and a notice said it also took away the beach race spot in the past. Basic and interesting to quest why there was a tent and no people.
Best free campsite I have ever been to! Nice to watch the sunset and the black sand beach is amazing!
Best experience, there is a toilet, changing room plus running water, there is a bit of a hill to walk down to this piece of paradise and not much parking space,
Peaceful place, nice toilet and storm shelter unfinished second toilet. Small tap on the side of the toilet but probably not suitable for drinking. To enter, go through the gate and down, do not take the small dirt road on the right.
We really enjoyed our time here. Beautiful views with the sun setting right in front of us. The beach is great for kids as it doesn't get very deep and the waves were perfect for body surfing. There is a bit of a walk down the hill from the car park, pack wisely to avoid multiple trips up and down.
A beautiful little campsite/ beach just minutes from the main road.
