The Self Serve Photo Printing service is really shoddy. The kiosks don’t recognize your phone whether by USB or via wireless transfer, one of the kiosks doesn’t work entirely, another has a broken USB port, the other two are spotty. Then when printing the photos, the machine takes a very long time. The printing attendants are run off their feet busy and simply just don’t have time to assist. Not great Officeworks!! Definitely not an express service.
Girls serving at the counter are extremely rude with no customer service skills. There was 1hr left until closing and the girl said to a handful of us "you guys should of come earlier to print, we close soon" - do not feel welcomed at all, looking at the other reviews this place needs to step up.
It was pretty poor.. I understand that items sometimes rum out of stock Pull Up Banner, and were asked to change to an alternative X-Banner with Frame and they'd refund on the day.. What was received on the day, was just a banner no frame due to claimed stock issues again, and a refusal to refund the $180 difference. I now have a product that is completely irrelevant to the task required.
I can’t get a refund on something after I opened it no problem. But ‘manager’ Bek should go back and learn basic customer service before doing any work at this place. Looks like most of reviews here don’t get a respond which is again a poor management.
Girls at printing service were so slow. Very rude and they don’t know how to say please to people. Two girls working/8 people in the line. Waited for around 25 minutes to get served. their self printing wasn’t working either. Staff need to learn customer service skills.
Today I went to the Cannington store to ask how much my project would cost to print. After telling the counter girl 2 times that I did not want a Banner, but the next size down from a Banner. But each time I explained what I wanted, she just asked me if I wanted a Banner. I'd had enough and asked for some one who under stood English. Another staff member said I was a Racist. At that moment I could have gone off at him but I simply told him what had happened, but he called me a Racist again. I began to get agitated and decided to take my business else where. As I was leaving 3 other customers came to my defense saying I was right and the girl didn't under stand my simple question. I just left without saying a word, even to the young woman waiting in line that I bumped into with my Wheelchair. If I did say anything at all at that moment I think I would have lost my temper and that's nothing any one who knows me wants to ever see again. I guess I should have realized she had a problem when the customer before me asked if her pictures could have a Black boarder and the girl answered that all there printing has a White boarder because the printer doesn't go all the way to the edge. Conclusion; avoid the Cannington Office Works at all costs if possible. It just might save your sanity.
Do NOT come here to print photos. This is my second visit in a row and wasted 30 mins each visit because the kiosk machine wasn’t working properly. It is a nightmare to navigate the kiosk machine since it’s just so slow and sluggish if you’re lucky to even find one that is even working. Yesterday, I go in an hour before closing time and line up 20 mins in the printing queue since I have some panorama and some 6x4 photos that I want to get printed. When it gets to my turn, they just tell me that they can’t print as it’s close to closure time and directed me to use the self service kiosk. Okay, I literally wasted my time lining up and I go to the kiosk and it does not have a panorama option but I thought I’d just get the 6x4 prints done first. I go ahead with the sluggish self service kiosk and pay for it. Go to printer to scan the barcode to start printing, “there is a problem with your order please ask for assistance from team member”. I ask the team member for assistance and they just tell me to keep trying. I keep trying and still doesn’t work so I ended up getting a refund was told to come back tomorrow to try again. Today, I went back and went through the whole kerfuffle of selecting the photos and I try to pay and the eftpos machine is not working. Okay I do the process again and pays fine. Go over to the printer to scan the barcode to start printing, it says “order not found, please ask team member for assistance”. I ask one of the team members and do not know what’s wrong with it. So ended up getting a refund again. It was pure waste of time and I would not ever go back there again to print anything at all.
Rude manager Alex, wasted my 35 mints by misguiding and then exact at 5pm, he did not serve, just took the money and asked me to pick the printed photos next day 8am. I never expected such behaviour from officeworks. Everyone’s time is important, and the team lead should be polit while dealing customers.
Mia at the print centre didn’t check what kind of binding I wanted, printed out $200+ worth of loose paper that I paid for, and then told me she couldn’t find the hard cover binding. Unprofessional and rude, 0 stars if I could.
Absolutely no help on the phone. Completely useless staff with no idea how to help me or what happened with my order. Took my money and cancelled my order with no explanation and with no refund for up to four days.
