This store has a great variety and selection from TV'S to cameras, etc, but what sets them aside from all the other stores is their customer service and product knowledge. I keep going back to them every time I purchase new stuff.
2 stars only because of our good experiences everything other time. We walked into the shop for no more than 2 minutes. A staff who was a young female, approached us and told us not to stand where we were we stood there for not even 30 seconds as we may block people’s way. We weren’t blocking anyone’s way. The staff did not have any items that we were blocking either. There was plenty of space for people to walk past us. I understand that there was staff entrance near where we stood but we were still a good distance away from the door. I do believe we are always considerate of our surroundings and people. If we were blocking we would’ve definitely moved and have been considerate. It was the way the staff approached us and how she put her statement as if we had blocked the entire walkway in every direction. I understand Boxing Day can bring the worst in people but I was not expecting this from staff. It may not have been intentional but it made us walk right out of the door without any purchase.
I was really pleased with the service at JB HI-FI Cannington when I went in there two days before Christmas 2024.nEven though it was as busy as anything, a staff member offered her help virtually straightaway without being pushy.nAs a technophobe, her service was greatly appreciated, and I was in and out of there in no time. She found the two items I was looking for and as they were n sale, I could also add a gift card to the lucky recipient of the presents. Total bonus!! :.nHighly recommended!!
Shopping at this electronics store was a pleasure from start to finish. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, answering all my questions with patience and expertise. I felt valued as a customer thanks to their friendly demeanour and willingness to go the extra mile. The store itself was well-organized and had a wide selection of products to choose from. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this retailer to anyone looking for electronics and outstanding customer service.
I had a terrible experience this afternoon. I was looking to buy Apple iPods. I arrived at the store and made my way to the audio section. I was standing there browsing as staff were walking past me and no one offered to help me. When I couldn’t find the item and realised that the store had a wide variety, and would’ve needed help. I stopped a staff member and asked her for help. She advised that she had asked an expert to come assist me. I stood at the aisle and waited. It was a long wait and I decided to wave at someone else and ask for help, they told me that they were serving another customer and would be with me shortly totally understandable. I waited and the bloke disappeared. I ended up frustrated and left the store. On my way out, I advised the staff member I had spoken to before that I was off to the Good Guys! I regret going to JB HI Fi as this is the same negative experience I had a year ago when I went to the midland store to buy my phone. I ended up going to The Good Guys in Cannington and oh boy! I have had the best experience! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and had a good demeanor. I will never go to JB HI FI. Despite the stores having good product variety, the customer service is appalling. Well done to the Good Guys for their superior customer experience and I am glad I have ended up there this afternoon
