The hotel is beautiful with a lovely view, the rooms were a good size and everything was clean. Service was also very good. The restaurant on the orther hand was pretty rubbish, the portion size is TINY(average main meal price $18, not including rice or any sides). The food quality is also very low for a restaurant that boasts great Burmese dishes. My food also arrived 10 mins before my partners food. STRONGLY recommend not eating at the restaurant...head into the town.

Ask for a river view room, because the view is stunning. The staff are kind and helpful, and the rooms big and comfortable. The attached photo was taken from our balcony.

Recently refurbished, Nugget Point deserves a top rating. Pay the extra, book a room with a river view and sit back and enjoy genuine world class scenery. Rooms are well appointed, bed was comfortable and the on site Burmese restaurant is excellent. Our favourite place to stay and only 5 minutes drive from the town centre.

The views are fantastic and 5 star quality .. But they have let the rooms get work out. All the chairs were falling part, the sofa was torn. Rather disappointing, considering we expected a high quality boutique hotel. They really should spend some money to make the room furniture be upto date.

The hotel itself is very cozy and nestled in between the trees around Queenstown not quite within the city centre which is good for people who'd prefer some quiet. The hotel has obviously been kept quite up to date with some design considerations and furnishing still remaining a bit dated. One thing you should know though is the rooms are large and some have balconies, staff are friendly and great, bathrooms are big and nicely lit with both showers and tubs, but the rooms do not have any air-conditioning should you feel the need for some warm days in the summer.
