I highly recommend the North Canberra Family Practice, but I'm not going to share my doctor's name. Why would I want her patient list to grow even longer!? She's a wonderful GP the best I've ever had - dedicated, compassionate, skilled and a brilliant communicator; as long as she stays at the practice, I will keep going. I'd add that, on the rare occasion that she has not been available, I've found the other doctors and nursing staff to be very responsive, and the staff on reception are always very helpful.
I consulted Dr M Rahman for blood reports for deficiency but he started checking other areas of report. My reports were 4 months old and reviewed by my other GP. He took 10 min on reading old reports, when I wanted to share and enquire about some of my symptoms; on that Dr asked me to stay quiet until he will read all of the results that reminds of the student life when some teachers used to snub students to ask questions in the middle of the lecture. So the patient needs to be very patient there . In last 5 min, he finally started discussing options of iron infusions. Good thing was that Dr Rahman explained the after effects very well And let me decide next course of action which not every doctor does. Dr charged me double the appointment for no treatment & drag it longer by 15 min of reading my old results that were already been reviewed by my other GP
The service at this practice is top notch. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and Dr Addison is super attentive and engaged, and provides excellent guidance and information. Definitely the best GP I’ve been to.
Hard to book and arrived on time. However I have to leave due to the long waiting time up to 40 minutes after my scheduled time. If I didn’t leave, don’t know how long should I still wait. Definitely do not recommend, unless your time is as cheap as possible.
Very good practice. Doctors are attentive and helpful, making sure that my tests and scripts are up to date and that I am doing well with ongoing health issues.
I have a great and thorough doctor. The whole team are friendly and helpful. They've been my medical practice for over 10 years.
Just experienced one of our best appointments. Waiting time minimal, interview thorough, satisfaction great. Hence the 5 stars! Dr Addison He leaves us satisfied we are getting good solutions!
I saw Dr. Thumati and she was really lovely and helpful. Importantly she took my issues seriously. The staff on the front desk were also very friendly. There was a staff member being trained who checked me into my appointment and she did a great job.
I attended the North Canberra Family Practice this afternoon and was very satisfied with the service I received, both from the admin staff and my fantastic doctor, katy Lees. The only complaint I would have is that in the past it took so long to get access to reception. I didn't have that problem today so maybe this hiccup has been corrected. Here's hoping!
Nurse Lucy was very helpful and easy to talk to. Thanks also to Dr Lees for her advice. Highly recommend this practice.
