I rate this store a 1 star out of 5 for the following reasons; Service; when I entered the store around 2 p.m. on the 12th of May, non- existent service, the store was not busy I was the only one in there at the time of review . Nobody came to serve me nobody came to ask if I needed any help therefore, the service rating is an abysmal 1 out of 5. friendliness; At the time of review 12th of May 2022 nobody was greeting the customer smiling or saying welcome or even servicing the clients therefore I rate the store an abysmal 1 out of 5 for friendliness. cleanliness; clean store, congratulation to the real workers keeping the store looking good behind the scenes. product range; extensive range of leather and fabric sofas as well as other furniture. Value for money; most sofas range from 3000 all the way to 7000 which I regard is quite pricey and quite expensive. Given the lack of service from the staff that were on duty today I don't know if the price is representative of the service I received therefore I don't know I would trust them to look after me once I purchased this lounge. trustworthy; in my culture we have a saying if the person is not friendly at the first point of meeting - you can guarantee one year later if you have any issues with your products, it is highly unlikely you will be looked after. I've had my sofa for under a year now and one side has completely collapsed. I told the store what has happened and they instructed me to put a claim in. I did multiple times, yet no response. Paying a couple of thousands for a product and service that is not up to par. Mind you, I waited almost a year for my couches to be delivered.
We have purchased a custom sofa with a lovely lady. She was professional, very pleasant not pushy which is what I loved! and was very clear on ETA and potential delays, which we completely understood. Our sofa arrive in exactly 18 weeks as was our ETA was 18 weeks. Without further delays Nick Scali contacted us to book a delivery. Once again, the service was professional and straight forward. When our sofa arrived two gentlemen who delivered it even put the sofa together for me and moved it where I needed the sofa to be. It was extremely helpful as I was on my own that day. The same day when my partner came home he has noticed that the side with recliner had a mechanical issue and reported it to Nick Scali. I believe it was the very next is when we were contacted and technician was booked it. One of our internal metal frames was bend inside. Once again the technical has ordered a new piece and that arrived within few very short couple of days. Frank and Peter came to our house to replace the metallic piece inside. They have completed the job in a very professional manner. They came quietly inside and completed the job within 30min. Left the site very clean and tidy. Made sure that the sofa was working perfectly and my partner was left extremely happy! We highly recommend Nick Scali! Great product selection and after survice! Thank you to everyone who was a part of our experience!
No customer service once they've made the sale and made promises with no intention of keeping. Purchased a couch sets from Nick Scali auburn store. As we were currently building and experiencing possible delays it was explained we would not be ready for delivery possibly till end December at the very earliest. However, it would likely be more likely end February or later. The sale person at the auburn store assured us this would not be a problem and they could hold the furniture for several months easily. When we received the order details via email, we sent a follow up email to confirm what was discussed at point of sale. We received a phone call in early December from the distribution centre for delivery 30 December. We explained that when the sale was made, we were told that the furniture could be held. The distribution call centre is in Manilla Philippines. Despite explaining the situation, we've been told we have to take delivery now. The delivery address is also a closed building site which we have no access to. We have attempted to call the store numerous times but the call is directed to Manila only. We've emailed numerous time but have not had any response. The distribution centre is pushing for delivery and has threatened us with cancelling the order and taking the 40% deposit paid if we do not. We had also ordered a second couch set at the caringbah store and told we would not need to take delivery till end February if need be. The distribution centre has also threatened to cancel that order and take the deposit also. Update: replied to the email hello@nickscali as requested and the email failed to deliver due either the email address couldn't be found or unable to receive emails. Either way, it appeared to be a waste of time and it was an automatic response designed to appear to be providing help.
I would give them a 0 if Goole allowed it. Nick Scali did not update me when my purchases would arrive and were unable to give me an estimated delivery date when I gave them a call. Since I made my order 7 months ago, it was delayed on more than three occasions WITHOUT NOTICE. To top it off, I received the worst delivery service that I have ever come across as staff were really rude and impolite. They abruptly left my home and left the rubbish downstairs near my neighbours. I also paid almost $200 in delivery only to find out that I had to discard all the packaging materials myself! We're very appalled and unhappy with your services. After this horrid experience, we will no longer be purchasing from Nick Scali ever again.
The chairs and tv unit we brought smell like with a ton of chemicals stuff, and they sent a guy came last week and told us that the chairs and tv unit “were not smelling to him” and he said that was normal. But all my family could have the same bad smell from them. So sending their guys come in and tell the customers the problem is not a problem is their client service. That guy didn’t even bring any tool with him but you said you “have a solution “? Not to mention their delivery men are rude and absolutely no empathy to my wife who is pregnant. If you are considering buy anything from them, DON’T! RUN!
We received our delivery mid July, coffee table and lamp tables were perfect, but our marble nesting table set was all smashed in the box...still waiting for our replacement. No courtesy call or message to let us know what is going on
Ordered sofa from Nick Scali, Auburn store early July, 22 but still no delivery as we move into December. Excuse after excuse from Victor the manager and he is not returning calls most of the time. He can’t confirm delivery date! When u call the store the call gets transferred to a call centre in Phillipines who have no idea what’s happening. Such a scam- can’t believe it's happening in Australia. Save yourself headache, don't buy from Nick Scali! *Very soon I will contact the bank and raise a dispute and get my refund. Buy from Harvey Norman instead.
Buyer beware! After your furniture passed the 2 years warranty, Nick Scali will not offer any support for you. They don't even back the product they sell! I'm still waiting for a response from Nick Scali!! @Nick Scali-Stop pretending to ignore a customer issue thinking it will resolve itself and start acting like a responsible business! Shame on you, Nick Scali!
Good service in store and a great deal on a quality piece... but...everything after the sale is less than special. There was three months waiting time that turned into a four months waiting time. Then the delivery team could only deliver on a day that suited them but a cash payment for the delivery was required, notice which we received the night before. And then cherry on top, they won’t take back the packaging material.
