Pretty awful experience at this place with employee Shaun.  Girlfriend went in to get 4 piece fixed, 1 that was dire. Shaun was confident that piece could be fixed in 2 days and quickly charged her $150 for all 4, making up prices for each one individually as he went.  A week went by with no text or call - we just got back to the store almost 3 weeks later now to have 2 pieces cleaned, 1 still being worked on (so we couldn't even take it back) and to the most important piece having not been touched.  Why it had to go to his jeweler multiple times if they couldn't fix it, we do not know and now have been jerked around for 3 weeks.  Still need to get the brace fixed and was given only a partial refund.  Would definitely avoid this place and Shaun if possible, we won't be going back.

Follow up - they said they couldn't fix the first piece because it wasn't silver. Charged $50 to not fix and hold for 3 weeks.

Just took it to an actual jeweler who confirmed it is silver and is charged $33 to fix it.  Shaun is an incompetent buffoon who should probably changed careers.

Very rude English lady who lacked knowledge on the products displayed. I instead went to a different store and received all the answers I was looking for. I would suggest heading somewhere else where the staff have have basic training in jewelry.

I had the most excellent purchasing experience with Mirna from Michael hill Elizabeth street in melbourne cbd. I wanted a special ring for myself and she went out of her way to let me see the rings in different lights and made the whole experience really lovely. Also had help from another gentleman in the store earlier who was also lovely. Thankyou for such a great experience and i love the ring!

I’ve just had the worst experience ever with Michael Hill. I bought a ring for my engagement from them 2 months ago. And now I still haven’t received the right ring yet. 
I come to the Elizabeth street store 3 times and receive their promises which are seem like last forever. 
They said the ring could be resized in 1 week, then I came to pick it and they said it had to be done in 6 weeks, and now, 8 weeks following, I’m still waiting for their message.
So so disappointed.
