went in to browse some wedding bands on Sunday. Ended up with the old, blonde lady serving us. She seemed so miserable being there, may as well have just told us to not bother her and leave..and we only browsed 2-3 items before her snappy, depressed state was too much to be around. Ended up taking our business to Janai a few blocks away - where service was exceptional for similar pricing.
My husband and I went in to look at jewellery, as we were walking past the store. Walked in and I was just browsing and cheekily pointed out an expensive ring the sales woman rushed straight over sat down and kept insisting I try it on.i declined several times, she then said show me your fingers..I said im not trying it on but thanks. Then my husband stood next to me so she started on him that he needs to buy it for me...sorry but way too push and almost sounded desperate to make a sale...wont go back to that store .....
AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE RUDE, PREJUDICED AND ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY!!!!! I went to Michael Hill’s store today to get an engagement ring sizing for my girlfriend and then to come back later to choose a ring without my girlfriend. I earn a high salary but was in warm sport clothes and my girlfriend had a grocery cart with her for the ease of department store shopping. We were eventually greeted by an Indian female worker there without a customer since I wasn’t given her name and the greeting was very cold judging us instantly based on our appearance. I asked about getting the ring sizing and she replied that they only give an O size to everyone and resize it later. Am I buying from their store? Not anymore! I replied I wasn’t sure yet so that my girlfriend wouldn’t be able to look and the store attendant said “Do you still need to get a sizing then?” I said yes, she took us over to try on one ring which didn’t fit. She said that it looked good, the size is N, is that all then? I went yes and left. I’m clearly not ever buying from Michael Hill again! There were at least 4 other workers there and no one else bothered to interject or help. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE RUDE, PREJUDICED AND ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY!!!!!
My fiancé and I had a very pleasant experience at the Bourke Street stall. Raju was extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. She really took the time to take care of us! Thanks again David and Clem
Payed a deposit and was told I could cancel it just by writing an email. Now that I am back overseas they tell me that I have to go to the store in person. That means ai will never see that deposit again.

Went to Michael Hill today for an engagement ring. I was greeted by the manager Derek who was very friendly and helpful I was looked after very well. I told him what I was looking for and he was wonderful. He introduced me to Hans the salesperson and told him what I was looking for. Hans was so kind and wonderful service he showed me two gorgeous rings and both fitted me perfectly. Being a size m or n it's hard to find rings my size. The ring I purchased is absolutely gorgeous and looks beautiful on my finger I recommend any one to shop at Michael Hill in Bourke St mall Melbourne the service and staff are fantastic and Derek is so lovely
They are not helpful at all … just try to find excuses to not refund and not even fix the issue on necklace I bought from them. I never buy anything from them again
I went there looking for a ring, and i got exactly what i wanted. The lady there that I don’t remember her name was very helpful and she did indeed help me find the right ring. And overall all the staff were nice and friendly.
