Uber Eats order. Missing one lot of fries. Bacon Angus burger was missing the bacon and cheese, had one piece of pickle the size of a 50c piece, and drowned in sauce.nnSpent a long time trying to call before someone finally answered the phone. Apparently there is nothing McDonald's can do about a refund on an Uber order, it is up to the customer to request a refund via Uber.nnThey are also unable to arrange for food to be delivered, so the only options would be for the customer to come into the store at the time defeats the point of Uber Eats, we didn't have a car that night, or to come into the store another time and they would leave a note to receive the items for free.nn2 main issues - the burger order made up by McDonald's was pretty repulsive, and the fact that McDonald's has no option for resolving an incorrect order via Uber Eats.nnAvoid this McDonald's.
One of the cleanest Macca's store's and huge pat on the back for the young lass washing the floor's. Good to see. Wish a lot of other's would take a leaf out of their book. Good work to all the staff
Went to maccas today at 2.10pm - and the service I received at the speakerbox, and drive thru window was beautiful. All the ladies were happy, big smiles and very kind. Small things go a long way! Made my day :

On Saturday night, 29 November 2025, I planned to get some food using the MyMacca’s app. I ordered a McCafé hot chocolate using my Macca’s points and paid $1.50 for a medium frozen Coke. The order was placed at approximately 10:51 PM.nnWhen I arrived at McDonald’s Sandgate, the drive-thru was closed, so I walked inside. I showed one of the workers my online pickup code HQ61. He told me they don’t process online orders after 11 PM, even though my order was submitted at 10:51 PM. I told the worker I would go back to my car to double-check and then return to confirm.nnI went back to my car to confirm everything. The app showed that my points had been deducted for the hot chocolate, and my Commbank account showed that I had been charged $1.50 for the frozen Coke. However, shortly after I mentioned that I would return once I confirmed the order details, the doors were locked, which made the situation feel even more unusual.nnWhen I returned to the entrance, the doors were suddenly locked and I was denied access for no clear reason at all. This was especially confusing because the doors were open just minutes earlier when I first entered. I also noticed that several DoorDash and Uber drivers were being denied access at the same time, which made the situation even stranger, and I genuinely hope it wasn’t triggered by my earlier interaction.nnSince I couldn’t get back inside, I had no choice but to leave the car park and go home without the items I paid for. Overall, it felt like a waste of time, especially because the app confirmed that my order had gone through. I don’t blame the workers since the order apparently wasn’t showing on their system, even though my app was set to the correct location Sandgate and the order had been placed. However, I do question the transparency and professionalism shown in the way the situation was handled.nnI have since filed a dispute with my bank regarding the $1.50 transaction.nnTo the staff members: if this is the attitude being shown towards customers, even those who have paid and are simply trying to collect their order, it raises the question of why work in fast food at all if basic customer service cannot be provided.
