At the Lakes Resort Hotel we give you the opportunity to enjoy superb accommodation and facilities in a setting exclusive to West Lakes, Adelaide. Our team of professional, experienced staff will guarantee that your only requirement is to sit back, relax and enjoy.

Our Accommodation suites are located on the tranquil waters of West Lakes each with their own lakefront view. The Lakes Resort Hotel is on the doorstep of Adelaide’s premier golf courses, 15 minutes from the Adelaide Airport and Harbour Town Shopping precinct. 20 minutes from CBD, 45 minutes from McLaren Vale wine region and only moments from South Australia’s picturesque coastline and sandy beaches.

For the corporate market the Lakes Resort Hotel offers six private function rooms located on the ground, first and second levels catering for all functions from small board meetings through to major trade shows and exhibitions. We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday , and then separately included the Sunday night leaving Monday which I rang and combined the two to stay in the one room . Upon booking in I was told this wasn’t going to be an issue , but on Sunday my friend was unable to access the room with her card in the afternoon when we returned, she asked at the desk why and was told it had been cut off at 10-00 am that morning , even though my card still worked ,then that night upon returning from dinner my card didn’t work , so lucky we were together to use hers , could have been a real issue .nThere is no water in the room , so we had to go across to the shops to buy water . We had breakfast each morning we were there which was Pancakes , the first morning was really nice 3 Pancakes with stewed apple , blueberries , strawberries , blueberry purée underneath and mascarpone , a small jug of maple syrup and a blackberry , Monday morning we asked for our pancakes , sat down and waited , when the girl bought it out , it was 2 pancakes on a plate with a strawberry cut into very tiny pieces a sprinkling of sugar , a small jug of maple syrup and a small bit of vanilla ice cream , when she put it down she looked at us and said so that’s all , to which I said no we ordered one plate each, she went back to the kitchen and upon returning said that plate is for the two of you , so I can get you another plate to put one of the pancakes on , I looked at her in disbelief of course and said we have been having this since last Thursday and have had 3 pancakes each on a plate , she returned to the kitchen and after about half an hour bought mine out . I of course was extremely unhappy with the service . I mean there’s tight and then there’s just bloody ridiculous. I have noticed a big decline in the service here from the way it was going back to 2019 , where you were very spoilt for breakfast , it was lovely food and a lot of it unlike now.
We attended a wedding at the resort this weekend. We booked a room with 2 x queen beds, we did not request a spa room as we would not have time to use it. We were placed in a spa room and charged the extra amount, without this being communicated to us.nnWe booked the room for two adults and two children. We were only provided towels for 2 people .nnNo instructions were provided on how to use any of the amenities in the room, the phones were disconnected/not working so we could not contact concierge or room service.nnSleeping through the night was rough and very limited. Loud speaking outside our room in the hallways all hours of the night and someone in the room next to us had a spa running in the early hours of the morning.nnNo drinking water in the room, despite glasses being provided.nnWhite stains on dark coloured carpets.nnThe included breakfast was pleasant, although the spinach was missing from my eggs Benedict.nnBeds were comfy and linens were clean and fresh.nnStaff were friendly, lovely views of the lake.
We had the best stay couple of weeks ago.nFor our friends weddingnEverything was absolutely amazingnTo the Wedding function staff, especially the function manager. Together you all created such a Dreamy wedding experience for us all nWas the best experience, the food, service was magnificent. Thank you so much for the best memories for us all. 20/10 recommend not 5 stars but 10 stars
Was there for a large sporting event that took place at the hotel itself. Not only it was so well set up including location accessible .The whole experience was 10/10 because of the atmosphere as a wholenRoom was beautiful on the waterfront, clean, staff was exceptionally friendly, toilets kept clean despite heavy traffic, food and service were perfect. They let me check in quite early when I didn’t even ask! Was what I needednafter travelling quite early.nWill definitely stay there again!!nThank you
Yep, we liked the accommodation very much. Location is awesome. Close to shops. From our balcony we could enjoy the fresh air and see canoeists exercising their skills in the morning. Staff were helpful and friendly. A very enjoyable stay, thank you Lakes Resort team! Recommended!
