At the Lakes Resort Hotel we give you the opportunity to enjoy superb accommodation and facilities in a setting exclusive to West Lakes, Adelaide. Our team of professional, experienced staff will guarantee that your only requirement is to sit back, relax and enjoy.

Our Accommodation suites are located on the tranquil waters of West Lakes each with their own lakefront view. The Lakes Resort Hotel is on the doorstep of Adelaide’s premier golf courses, 15 minutes from the Adelaide Airport and Harbour Town Shopping precinct. 20 minutes from CBD, 45 minutes from McLaren Vale wine region and only moments from South Australia’s picturesque coastline and sandy beaches.

For the corporate market the Lakes Resort Hotel offers six private function rooms located on the ground, first and second levels catering for all functions from small board meetings through to major trade shows and exhibitions. With ample free car parking, up-to-date conference technology and a highly motivated and enthusiastic events team we will personally guarantee that your next event is a success.

The Lakes Hotel was absolutely fantastic. We went for 5 days on 22nd Jan for our 50th wedding anniversary.nAll the staff, the ladies who cleaned our room, the reception staff, the bar staff and the kitchen staff were all wonderful, so polite and helpful.nThe rooms are great with a beautiful view overlooking the gorgeous lake.nThe food at the restaurant was also delicious.nExtra shout out for Jess who made us feel so special.nCannot rate this place highly enough and can't wait to return!
We had the best stay couple of weeks ago.nFor our friends weddingnEverything was absolutely amazingnTo the Wedding function staff, especially the function manager. Together you all created such a Dreamy wedding experience for us all nWas the best experience, the food, service was magnificent. Thank you so much for the best memories for us all. 20/10 recommend not 5 stars but 10 stars
Went to have dinner for Valentine's Day only to be told there's no tables available & to sit in the bar area & we can inform you when a table is available. There were tables & not sure why we couldn't get one. It was only for 2 people. No one came to seat us in the dining area so stayed in the bar area. The stir fry was nice that we both had, but nothing special. The bar area's music was so loud & on top of the crowd noise, it was not somewhere I'd go again, especially for Valentine's. We would have ordered dessert & another drink, but their loss. Bar chick was playing with her hair & then serving drinks. What's happened to good service & hygiene standards? It's expensive enough to go out these days. I'll take my money elsewhere.
Both of us had the roast, meat was great, broc, cauli and Pumpkin bit hard. Rest veg good. Pork crackling is normally really good but today's wasn't, way too much pepper put on veg. Staff lovely
Stayed twice over the Christmas break on my way over to the east coast. First stay quite happy and reasonable price.nnHaving a decent experience the first time we thought we would book again on the way home back west. This time pricing had doubled compared to first stay. $385 a night. Due to being fairly booked out. Very happy to pay that because it has breakfast included and our first experience was good.nnTurns out when we rocked up last week for our 2nd stay they had a wedding on and that’s why they were pretty booked out/busy which isn’t an issue.nAnyway we checked in and went up into our room.nnWalking to our room the whole corridor smelt like smoke and our room smelt even worse inside and I have two young kids, a 1 year old and 2 year old.nWe turned the aircon an opened the doors for 10minutes to see if it would clear but didn’t.nnSo I went down and asked if there was any issues and if we could change rooms. Again we didn’t have a problem with that we are easy going people.nnGave us another room so we switched into that one.nThis room though was filthy inside though.nnBandaids on the ceiling, dirty used coffee all over the cutlery, toothpaste at the bottom of the cups. Floors dirty. Bathroom door didn’t work same as the bathroom blinds.nnWe couldn’t wait to just get out of there in the morning. I spoke to a manager in the morning when dropping the key off. He told me someone would get in touch with me which they haven’t yet he also basically said he knew people were smoking inside and he give me the oppression that was acceptable.nnFor the price we paid on the 2nd stay I would have rather to stay elsewhere.
