Special shout out to Shen and Andreja for going above and beyond to make my stay top notch. They and the rest of the team go the extra mile to ensure an excellent stay. Rooms are great, clean spacious and very comfortable. Location is perfect, 15 min from airport and in the heart of the city. 10/10 would recommend!
I stayed at the Hilton Adelaide during a solo trip and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the stay feel very comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was a standout, a great variety of food at very good value. The rooms were spacious, and offered a lovely view of the city. I also really enjoyed the swimming pool, appreciated the complimentary bottled water, and most importantly felt safe and at home throughout my stay. My only small suggestion would be the addition of a flat white option on the coffee machine. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would happily return.
I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hilton Adelaide. I chose Hilton because the brand is known for quality and reliability, but this experience fell far short of what anyone would expect from a five-star hotel.nOur room was not clean on arrival. The bathroom drain was full of hair and the carpet was threadbare and worn, which immediately made the room feel neglected. At $400 per night, this is completely unacceptable.nGuests are heavily pushed to use the hotel app, yet basic service standards were lacking. On the pool deck there was only a single beer option available, which is very surprising for a hotel that presents itself as a premium property.nWe also asked for our room to be serviced while we went to breakfast, but when we returned it appeared our request had been completely missed. No turnover, no attention, nothing.nThe most disappointing part of the stay was discovering that the hotel is no longer truly operating as a Hilton property. Guests are not clearly informed that another hotel group has taken over management. Booking specifically with Hilton only to discover this afterwards feels misleading and extremely disappointing.nWhen I went to the concierge desk to explain that we were unhappy and intended to check out early, the only question I was asked was whether we had used the minibar. There was no concern shown for why a guest paying premium rates would want to leave early.nHilton should be embarrassed that a property carrying its name is delivering this level of experience. For $400 per night, this stay felt closer to a three-star motel than a five-star hotel.nTruly dissatisfied.
The Hilton was a lovely stay, with a spacious room and excellent value for money. The standout feature was the ability to choose your room’s floor and location via the app prior to check-in, a genuinely brilliant feature and an easy 10/10.nnThe Executive Club add-on was also well worth the money, and we found it to be good value overall. During one visit to the Club, an Asian gentlemen in particular provided exceptional, personalised service, which really stood out and enhanced the experience.nnThe main drawbacks were the pool and the Executive Club spirits service. The pool was quite small and, due to its size and the constant presence of children, was effectively unusable during our stay.nnAdditionally, spirits in the Executive Club were not self-serve. On both occasions we visited, staff did not put out the sign indicating that spirits were available. We only became aware after specifically asking. It’s unclear whether this was an ongoing oversight or a way of keeping guests unaware of their entitlements.nnThat aside, it was still a solid 4/5-star experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
The rooms are very dated, the shower and bathroom was very dirty. The breakfast is okay but nothing special. Staff are friendly and polite, it was also very quiet overnight. For an average of nearly $800 per day whilst here for the golf, it was certainly not worth that amount.
