I stayed at the Hilton Adelaide during a solo trip and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the stay feel very comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was a standout, a great variety of food at very good value. The rooms were spacious, and offered a lovely view of the city. I also really enjoyed the swimming pool, appreciated the complimentary bottled water, and most importantly felt safe and at home throughout my stay. My only small suggestion would be the addition of a flat white option on the coffee machine. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would happily return.
Excellent experience, one of my fav hotels in Adelaide. Staff are so friendly. All night menu for room service.nThe shampoo and conditioner is from I believe a local adelaide supplier and its the only hotel shampoo/body wash ect... I've actually loved. Will be buying my own nownnGreat food, great service and the room was so nice.
Quite nice, feels very much like a business hotel.nThe pool is not warm at all.nThe room service food I had was okay, over priced but the portion was a good sizenBeing so close to China town, the markets, and the tram line is brilliant very easy to get places
I stayed at the Hilton in Adelaide and was pleased with the check-in experience. The staff member who helped us was very attentive and went out of their way to find the best room available, which I really appreciated.nnHowever, for a 5-star hotel, there were some disappointments:n- Breakfast: The variety was limited compared to other hotels I’ve visited. The staff weren’t particularly friendly, and when we requested items to be refilled, it took a while.n- Air conditioning: The unit in our room was noisy and barely cooled the room. This was disappointing, as good air con is usually one of my favorite things about hotel stays.n- Room: The room was okay, but for the price, it didn’t feel exceptional.n- Parking: Before booking, we were told valet parking was $55/day with a discount for self-parking which was 25$/day, which influenced our decision. Upon arrival, we were initially told the discount didn’t exist. Eventually, they provided a barcode for discounted parking, but the parking attendant said the discount meant $25 anytime you enter/exit. Parking for 2 hours ended up being $10 without the discount and $25 with it, which felt unreasonable.nRoom setup: We booked for two people, but the room was set up for one. We had to request the additional setup, which wasn’t done until the next day, even though we stayed for two nights.nnOverall, while the staff at check-in were helpful, some aspects of the stay, breakfast, air conditioning, parking, and room setup—did not meet my expectations for a 5-star hotel.
Was booked in after Virgin flight cancelled, room was nice and staff were friendly but my room order just a ham and cheese toastie stated a 30 minute wait and after more than 90 I had to go to sleep. Attempts to contact the kitchen were unsucessful too. No pick up after minutes of ringing or whenI tried 30 minutes later
