I recently had the pleasure of staying at the InterContinental Adelaide, overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel boasts a convenient location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area & a good locaiotin for my business activities.nnWhile the hotel does show signs of age and could benefit from some modern updates, it is exceptionally clean, and all services are functioning perfectly. This attention to cleanliness is commendable and contributes significantly to the comfort of guests. The gym particulary has good facilties and is in good order.nnThe hotel bar is a highlight, offering a nice atmosphere for relaxation and socializing, though it is on the pricier side. It’s an ideal spot for enjoying a drink at the end of the day.nnThe rooms are spacious and comfortable, although they echo the hotel's dated aesthetic. Personally, I found the bed to be a bit too hard for my liking, but I understand that comfort preferences vary.nnOne of the standout aspects of my stay was the attentive service throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met during my visit, in particular the breakfast service and offerings.nnOverall, considering the price, cleanliness, comfortable & environment, I would not hesitate to stay at the InterContinental Adelaide again. It's a solid choice for anyone.
Excellent breakfast at an extremely reasonable cost. Very friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. People didn't look lost for very long before being attended to by a staff member. The overt statement of class was how staff supported each other despite position. Was uplifting seeing staff in jackets being as hands-on as those in aprons, to the point of assisting them with tasks they could have felt were beneath them. Will support and promote the restaurant for that alone.
Great hotel.nClub lounge has moved again but to a lighter airy space.nOne of the best club lounges in Australia. Really excellent service and food.nWish all Club lounges were like this one.nGreat stay.
Our second time here and WOW. We love this place. Level 24 overlooking the river was absolutely stunning. Was a great surprise to get that awesome room. Everything about this complex is out of this world. Best buffet breakfast. We can't wait for our next getaway
Highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental. The staff's exceptional responsiveness and attentiveness truly stood out. While things may not always go perfectly, they addressed my concerns quickly and made me feel genuinely welcomed - just like being at home.nnA special thanks to Jenny at the front office who thoughtfully arranged a room with a view of the riverside fireworks a delightful surprise I wasn’t expecting.nnThe entire team, from front desk to luggage delivery, is consistently attentive and responsive. I am particularly impressed by their proactive approach in offering assistance. The team of Kenneth, Divya, Kimberly and Kendra sent me message soon after I checked in to make sure I knew they’re always available if I needed anything. In fact, they did respond promptly without any delay. The team’s effort to provide such high quality of service is invaluable considering they should be very busy during the Fringe Festival that lasts for a month, coupled with many different ongoing events.nnThough I only booked the basic room type, it was surprisingly spacious with a comfortable sofa and a convenient desk. The bathroom included both a tub and a shower.nnTheir location is unbeatable! Everything is within walking distance. You can take a stroll along the River Torrens, enjoy some excitement at the SkyCity Casino or explore the nearby museum and art gallery. There are so many things to do just steps away!nnI truly appreciated the generous space and excellent service. Everything was too good! It was really great value for money. You simply cannot find a competitor in the city at the same price that offers such an outstanding level of service, space and amenities.nnTheir dedication allowed me to relax and enjoy my stay with peace of mind. I would love to return! : I actually did extend my stay for a week!
