I recently had the pleasure of staying at the InterContinental Adelaide, overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel boasts a convenient location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area & a good locaiotin for my business activities.nnWhile the hotel does show signs of age and could benefit from some modern updates, it is exceptionally clean, and all services are functioning perfectly. This attention to cleanliness is commendable and contributes significantly to the comfort of guests. The gym particulary has good facilties and is in good order.nnThe hotel bar is a highlight, offering a nice atmosphere for relaxation and socializing, though it is on the pricier side. It’s an ideal spot for enjoying a drink at the end of the day.nnThe rooms are spacious and comfortable, although they echo the hotel's dated aesthetic. Personally, I found the bed to be a bit too hard for my liking, but I understand that comfort preferences vary.nnOne of the standout aspects of my stay was the attentive service throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met during my visit, in particular the breakfast service and offerings.nnOverall, considering the price, cleanliness, comfortable & environment, I would not hesitate to stay at the InterContinental Adelaide again. It's a solid choice for anyone.
Did not stay. Though have before. Visited cocktail lounge after Beauty and the Beast. Had a margarita and my fiancee had a Japanese slipper. Quick service. Divine drinks. Larger cocktail menu would be appreciated. New chairs, tables and carpets sorely needed so great to see the renovations. Will be back!
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel smells amazing on arrival and everything equaled that.nnRooms great, the heated pool was amazing, food was fab and the staff could not have been more helpful - highly recommended.
I stayed 4 nights for a conference. My room was clean and tidy. You can tell the hotel is getting a little age to it but unlike others the rooms are fresh and clean. Perfect location, and I had a 21st floor king suite with a beautiful view. The only disappointment was if you showered around 8am in the morning the hot water was lacking, which quite a number of fellow conference attendees noted also. The curtains in my room were particularly difficult to draw back and close, not closing easily, which was necessary to do at night as the stadium across the river has huge flashing billboards that light up the room like lightning flashing constantly. Minor things that wouldn't stop me from staying again. Staff, room service, and buffet breakfast all wonderful.
Loved it, my family and I always have a fantastic time here. Clean cosy and fantastic spot. The service is spot on . It has large rooms and very comfortable, the most minuscule negative for me personally was the colour scheme and the marbling especially just feels not very modern and slightly dark.nService fantastic nHad tea and breakfast in their restaurant at foyer level and it was just awesome and also the bar there
