Clean, extra-large room but not in the best of repair. Great front desk help. A street or area of town that has so many international restaurants that you will be challenged to decide where to eat. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
Very good value for money with large bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchenette could do with an update but for the price we were very happy. Also located among great pubs, restaurants and a short walk to the CBD and river.
Great place, friendly service, location was perfect for what we needed. It's clean and tidy close to Cafes for breakfast. We used to love it when the restaurant was open though it's a shame it never really reopened after COVID. We will be back
In my experience at the hotel. Comfort Hotel Adelaide Meridien, I had a great experience. The people who work at the reception were all very friendly and helpful, and very cooperative. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well located, has many places to have breakfast and eat and with very good prices and very close to the city and with some very nice parks.
Stayed there from Thursday 12th December, checked out this morning 16th December. The hotel rooms are not clean. They must be having some kind of cockroach infestation as TWO rooms had several cockroaches. We got swapped a room the following the second night and that room also had roaches. We then complained to staff and they said they went in to do a deep clean and applied some kind of bug spray but the roaches continued to make an appearance. We weren’t able to find another hotel on a budget and initially thought the Meridien would be good location wise. Won’t be coming back. I would urge the hotel to get ACTUAL pest control in as we weren’t the only ones who made a similar review. On booking.com filed last week, another guest said the same thing but that was only seen during our trip. The only good thing would be the location but that’s anywhere in downtown Sydney. We didn’t check to look at the most recent reviews. We won’t be making that mistake again…we took pictures but to not paint an already clear picture enough has been said already.
