Story

Illawarra’s premier dining experience, located by the sea, the Lagoon features a world class à la carte menu. Enjoy the freshest seafood including king prawns, local lobsters, Queensland mud crabs, Sydney rock oysters, local fish and scampi from the deep oceans of Western Australian, as well the finest grain fed beef and poultry.

Choose a wine from any region around Australia, as well as New Zealand, from a crisp cool climate Sauvignon Blanc to Coonawarra Limestone Coast Merlot. We have the wine for every palate and occasion.

We visited Wollongong for a family catch up. We’d booked a table for lunch, but arrived mid morning so had coffee first. We talked until it was time for lunch. We were in no way made to feel that we had overstayed our welcome, the reverse in fact, the staff were incredibly gracious. We had an excellent lunch, the staff were wonderful & we will definitely go there again next time we visit Wollongong. The restaurant is quite large & also has a large deck which has a closing roof & windows, it was very comfortable & we were sheltered from the wind. Highly recommended.

Great food and quick service. Pricey, but it's worth it and the location is pretty much perfect. Eat indoor or on the balcony. Although it's a seafood restaurant you can order vegetarian or meat dishes. The wine selection is good, although pricey. The beer selection is pretty wide ranging from various countries. I had a great German Pilsener. The portions are good and they have the service down pat, we ordered a variety of stuff, and it all came at the same time. That was 6 different mains, and all perfect. Desserts are just as good, try the Penna Cotta. They were very accommodating, It's a place for special occasions.

Food are amazing, with great food art. Very attentive staffs with wonderful service. I could repeat for dinner, breakfast and lunch... deserve 5 stars

Lovely food, friendly service. Best roasted vegetable salad I have ever eaten, my partner had steak and bugs and absolutely loved it. Prices are steep although its a lovely view / feel with good service. Worth the money.

Location is great, parking easy and a very pleasant feel to the experience. Staff were friendly, knowledgable and helpful, very nice. Food was excellent and choice was great with plenty to choose from. Have enjoyed our time every visit, just wish we lived closer to visit more often.
