An outstanding French dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is vibrant yet refined, elevated beautifully by a live band that adds just the right touch of Parisian charm without overpowering the conversation. The food is truly exceptional—authentic French flavours, perfectly executed, and clearly crafted with attention to detail and passion. Every dish was balanced, rich, and memorable, from the first bite to the last. Service was attentive and seamless, making the evening feel effortlessly special. A restaurant that delivers on ambience, cuisine, and experience—easily one of the best French restaurants around.
Daringly walked in on Valentine’s Day with my sister who’s visiting from overseas. We were seated by the bar and honestly, we were very glad that we did. You could still see the stage with the jazz playing, and it felt lively without being overwhelming.nPhilip, the bartender was fantastic in looking after us, especially as we weren’t really checked in or asked much by the section waiter. At times it felt like we were a little overlooked, but Philip made sure we weren’t. He was attentive and just genuinely great at what he does business should be glad to have such a team player!!!nFood was amazing. The kingfish had the right balance of texture from the cured fish, cloud mushroom and rice puff — fresh and well thought through. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. And the mushroom au poivre sauce was creamy and indulgent — we ended up adding fries just to keep the sauce could literally lick the plate.nOverall, it was a great dining experience thanks to Philip and the chefs. Worth a visit if you’re in Sydney!
Thoroughly enjoyed eating here. The duck was the best I’ve had,nmoist and juicy. The pate and the roe boat salmon roe, caviar, and uni were fresh, sweet, and delicious although on the pricey side. Cocktails and sparkling wine were excellent. Service was superb and the ambience was top-notch with live jazz music. Escargot was just okay for the price not the best I’ve had but overall a great experience!
Went to Restaurant Hubert for lunch. Amazing experience. Outstanding food, everything was perfect, absolutely lovely meal and you can enjoy your meal while watching a live Jazz music performance. Excellent service, staff were incredibly attentive and friendly! We will definitely be back.
Delicious, well-seasoned food with good quality and reasonable portions, though a bit on the pricey side. Service was excellent - attentive and confident.nnI just walked in on Saturday and was lucky to get a table for my birthday lunch. I’ve been wanting to try this place and definitely don’t regret it. Will be back!
