Superb. We booked a lunch here for just the two of us the day after our wedding. It was indeed a memorable occasion. Everything was perfect. All staff were absolutely first class. The five course meal was incredible. We just loved it. Our table was on the balcony overlooking the Harbour Bridge and our beautiful harbour. Can’t speak highly enough of this restaurant. Fine dining it certainly is.

Food is good in terms of fine dining, service was really good and very accommodating. Being young we always get looked down on when we go to fine dining places but i didn't feel as much of that vibe when we came which was nice and a bit of a change. I would look out for the alcohol as we were served oxidized wine as we say they don't store their wines properly to keep the taste and flavour in. Came here for valentines day dining. It was a set menu which was fine and i loved everything on the menu. Unfortunately my friend didn't notice the amount of seafood in the menu and by the time the first dish came out was too late. Thankfully the another waitress noticed and was very accommodating and changed her main along with bringing her a different entree. Would come back to try their menu again.

Going to lunch for a birthday on a Sunday with a predicted top temperature of 38+degrees, we booked Aqua dining knowing it had air conditioning, great views and lovely food. Unfortunately they decided to open all of the doors and therefore the entire lunch was spent being extremely uncomfortable and in the end I was submersing my napkin in my water wiping down my face. It was the most uncomfortable dining experience of my life. No matter what was said we were told that the air conditioning was turned up as high as it could go - no air con unit is going to cope with 38degrees being blown in from outside through multiple doors. If there was an issue with the air con, they should have just admitted it as I will NEVER book here again based on yesterday's experience. Such an incredible shame.

Would not recommend to anyone and will not be returning - service was appalling. I recently went there for a birthday dinner but ended up getting food poisoning when I arrived home (I know this was from the food as I had eaten at home previously and no one else at home had food poisoning). My waiter also made me feel bad for raising the fact that I found a hair embedded in the sauce of my dish. I do not find it fun to complain about hair in food just to get a replacement dish however this is how I was made to feel. She apologised but continued to tell me how "its funny, all the chefs in the kitchen are bald. So I don't know where the hair could have come from" - clearly implying that it was my own hair which I had planted into the food. This made me feel very awkward. On another occasion, I attended a 21st lunch at Aqua dining. A waiter incorrectly placed a slice of cake with nut traces in front of a friend who was allergic to nuts (and he had previously alerted this to the waiters). He had an allergic reaction. When we called an hour later, Aqua dining accepted no responsibility at all and proceeded to tell us it was our fault - that we could sue them if we wanted and that they "had insurance to cover this sort of stuff". This was not the apology we were after and ruined a perfectly good 21st. I do not understand why Aqua dining do not accept responsibility for their actions and keep continuing to make their customers feel at fault. However, I will not be returning and will be sharing my experiences with as many others as I can so that no one else will have to go through what I did.

I've been entertaining clients and celebrating big events with friends and family at Aqua Dining on probably 30 or more occasions these last 15 years or so - since it opened actually. To succeed in the fine dining industry consistency is key - every time I've dined at Aqua it has been as good or better than the last. The food, service and location - absolutely stunning location - is nothing short of sublime. The Weekend Delights special is fantastic value and made even more fantastic as you can BYO that special bottle you've been keeping. Tip - if Martin is on ask to be seated in his section. Martins professionalism, knowledge and personality is the best in the business.
