I certainly would not recommend Kudos Audio and Visual. The fact that they are in Volantary receivership and management don't care is only the tip of the iceberg with our install. Over 1 1/2 years after the supposed install and told it would be 100%, we still have numerous defects, bugs and issues with the system to which they wont attend too. Some of their suppliers have forced them attend as its contractual but on their own parts and programming issues we are being ignored now and asked to go elsewhere. The initial sales consultantion was okay, told it could do this and that and more. Now its, thats a complex program (a scene thats was confimed would be easy ) lights still staying on after programmed to go off. Sensors not sensing!! The project manager on this job is very ill informed,  lacks knowledge and immature for this role. After complaining many times to management about our long outstanding issues, they came out but still couldn't fix there issues plus left marks and chips around the sensors and on walls plus screws left on our new couch there was very much a lack of respect in and around our new house. We haven't seen or heard from Kudos for months now, we still contact as per ACCC requests but they just don't care. Under the Australian Consumer law we are entitled to have a refund/repair/replacement for products not fit for purpose. We also requested manufacturer warranty information on the products we bought and they wont supply them. That is an issue as we have had failure already have with some equipment,  that was hard work to rectify. Kudos had our house plans from day one to organise amd assess. We had a comms cupboard put in, house nearly finished building and the project mananger tries to install the rack.... the door isn't tall enough so had to all be pulled out and now we have one door taller than the other 2 in that location plus we cant pull the rack out as far as promised due to it hitting another opening. Very poor planning on the project managers side along with many walk throughs with him and the electrician from Kudos on lighting and been told what i need to purchase and that changed 3 times at a much greater cost than was initially told forthe same setup, it yet again came down to him being unorganized and lacking knowledge. The blame game came as expected with the project manager saying some things are difficult and the expectations where high. The actuall expectations where lower but he needed to try and justify his errors to his management in an email we saw, i can assure you that what he said about the company wouldn't be what he told his management. We offered management a site visit on a few occasions for them to see what there employees had done to our house. Of course they never came. No customer or after sales service here. . The outer cameras on the house werent working for 4 months after the install, they actually tried putting an inferior product in instead of what was in the quote. That was very stressful trying to get that fixed and having the equipment installed that we purchased. 4 months of no security footage!! Not acceptable. Sensor in a bedroom was turing on all the lights in the bedroom for a week. The project manager had been adjusting the wrong one but thought it was funny. No applogy. The list of issues, poor workmanship is too long to list here but is quite extensive and after spending so much money, its a massive let down from what we were sold. We had to tell them numerous times that all the rooms arent showing on the control panel to be able to control them, It wasn't until they checked months later and were like...ahh yeah, you can't see the rooms. It's still far from a stable working system I personally couldn't recommend these guys. We have contacted the ACCC and other avenues to get this rectified and taking legal action. We have also reported them to the administrator thats took over. This is a company that shows why it's currently in Volantary receivership My personal opinion is to keep well away from this company. It's simply not worth it.
