I had an amazing experience at Kmart Toowong today, and I'm eager to give well - deserved praise to one of your employees, Courtney.nnMy friends and I were in a bit of a bind. We needed to activate a card but were at a complete loss. Adding to our struggles, English isn't our native language, which made the situation even more daunting. However, Courtney came to our rescue.nnThe card - activation process was rather intricate, and our language barrier made communication a challenge. But Courtney was an absolute gem. She took the time to break down each step, using plain language and even some friendly gestures to make sure we were following along. What should have been a quick job ended up taking quite a while because of our difficulties, yet Courtney remained unfailingly patient. She stayed by our side throughout the entire process until the card was finally up and running.nnHer kindness, professionalism, and endless patience really made our day. It's rare to come across such a helpful and understanding staff member, especially in a bustling store. Courtney is truly an asset to Kmart Toowong, and I hope this recognition reaches her. Thank you for having such wonderful employees!
Kmart Toowong has become my go-to spot for affordable everyday items! The store layout is intuitive. Making it easy to find what I need without wandering aimlessly. I recently picked up some storage solutions and was impressed by the variety and quality available at such reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting me in locating a specific item I couldn't find on my own.
Located within Toowong village shopping mall. Reasonable collection of household items, clothing and related accessories, kids toys, fashion makeup accessories, home decor and many more. The collection of shoes could have been better.
Visited Kmart Toowong on 1/8/25 to purchase new Pokémon Black and White products. Staff Ilana and Daniel advised I could only buy two items but could not explain the store policy. When I asked the manager Kaitlyn for clarification, she was abrupt and shared her personal opinion against selling Pokémon products instead of addressing my enquiry.nnAlthough she eventually agreed to sell the items, Daniel interrupted during the transaction in a confrontational manner. The interaction felt unprofessional and disappointing. I have reported the matter to Kmart Customer Service and recommend further staff training in customer service and handling policy questions respectfully.
