My son is moving here from US to attend University. We have been to this store now 5 times with multiple forms of ID, lease agreements, University acceptance letters and other items and they still not completing the sale. The staff has not been very helpful trying get this done. Store Manager Michael has been the least helpful. If I could rate less than Zero I would.
Went in there recently needing help with my faulty phone . I had brought from Telstra and I was considered a valued customer. I had no help whatsoever I lost business for a day . Sarah the store manager couldn’t be bothered to come to speak to me . Nice customer service!!! Will be taking all my services elsewhere.
Thanks to the team for being patient with my parents on the weekend. The young team member was very patient in setting up the account even though it went past closing time. Much appreciated and the right approach to service as the local face of the company.
I am a recently arriving student from the USA, and although my father has also posted a review excoriating this Telstra branch for the issues we experienced, I thought it behooved me to elaborate on our experience. Trying to work with this branch has been an absolute headache since my arrival in Australia and the beginning of my PhD at UQ. I have experienced nothing but roadblocks to receiving a phone number since my arrival. I provided them with not only copies of my birth certificate, passport, and debit cards, but also my lease and other important information. Despite providing all of these items and waiting over a week to see if they could shore up the issues they were having with the control team, they still could not provide me with service. In addition, despite responding to an email when they asked me for a lease agreement by stating I already had given them one, I never received a reply. Because of these myriad reasons, I went to the Optus store in the same mall, and they were able to set me up with a number in 40 MINUTES! If you are an international student in Toowong or the area around the Toowong village, I would absolutely not give this store your business. Some of the store's employees, such as Aaron are very pleasant and helpful, but this is most certainly not true of the managerial or corporate aspects of this branch. I really tried my best to be patient, but in truth this store is not worth your time. Sincerely, Wil
Went to the store to report a fraudulent activity. Justin, super rude said he wouldn’t help me because the store would close in 2 hours it was 3:30 and store closes at 5:30 so it would take longer than that to fill out a form. Justin you shouldn’t be working in retail, the way you treat customers is absolutely ridiculous mate. By the way I went to Optus and Vodafone and they were able to help me in under 7 minutes.
I find the tech support people absolutely marvellous. They are generous with their time and possess the skills necessary to solve your problem - or address any concerns you may have. Very grateful for their help and support!
I’m been regular customer and my credit overdue.they own me credit! When I’m come they don’t want service customers, im never want to waste my time anymore, im should cancel contracts with Testral expensive and bad service
I went in to Telstra at Toowong this afternoon to grab a new phone, I arrived at 2:30 stood there for 10 minutes waiting before someone spoke to me. When I told the lady that served me I needed a new phone no sim because I had broken mine and am now without a phone she said sorry we close in 20 minutes and it takes much longer than that to add a new phone to your account. I explained I am a business customer and was in on Thursday to get a new phone and it only took 15 - 20 minutes minutes. She still refused to serve me and told me to come back on Monday when they open. I get everyone wanted to get home to their families but there was 4 or 5 staff members on im sure 1 member could have stayed back the 5 minutes. I walked straight across to Optus and signed up and got a new phone then and there. Needless to say I will be pulling all of our business from Telstra. I find it disgraceful that she couldn’t be bothered to stay back 5 minutes.
Recently upgraded a number of services. Justin went above and beyond to help and made it all happen very smoothly and quickly. I had previously been in the store and Justin had helped although I did not get a new phone and service that time, he remembered me and was happy to help again this time. There is a lot to say about the great customer service experience. Highly recommend this specific Telstra store and Justin!
We recently switched to this carrier and the transition was professional, informative and great people interaction. We were assisted by Sarah-Jane the Store Manager. Well done.
