Returning an item at K-mart Mount Ommaney. Very bad experience. Returning a set of bed sheets and a very young girl told me I couldn’t return them as I had opened the set of sheets. I told her I hadn’t and she refused to believe me and got the manager who said they were fine for refund and they hadn’t been opened. Went to Big W next to return an item and such a better and easier process. Will not recommend this Kmart

Got a tshirt wrong size. Never even tried on as too small. Tags on it and just wanted to change size. No and too bad. Bad decision. Went and spent some money at bigw. Kmart wake up and use some common sense.
Most horrible return policy. Nowadays MOST shops do not ask for a paper receipt and even have the choice of printing or not printing it due to significant amount of paper WASTE. This is the only place I've known of that would not allow exchange or refund without a paper receipt when it was purchased less than 24 hrs ago. They have all the labels to scan and know that it was purchased from that specific place and time too. Yet they give retarded, illogical, very immature excuses such as they can't find any such details from scanning the bar code. So basically this isn't an environmentally friendly place given they encourage people to print paper receipts and waste paper.
Worst customer service I've ever encountered at a Kmart. Change their policies from day to day on exchanges even tho head office and return policies are clearly stated on HQ website. They seem to run their own rules at this one. BEWARE!!
