The big switcharound they did a while ago with areas in the store and fixtures was very successful. The place was in need of a good clean, and was given just that! The store is beautifully presented, the new and improved beauty section is cleaner and looks great. Big thumbs up to all the staff who worked on that. Printers have been on and off for a while but not that big of a deal. Stores toy sections can get messy sometimes with opened products and drinks, but not the staff fault, customers need to learn decency. Staff are hard-working, always busy doing work on the store and stocking or doing re-shop. Great store
Excellent Kmart to shop at..nVery clean and organised.nLovely staff but the standout store person for me is a lovely young man named Sebastian...nHe's so professional and helpful in every way..nHe's very knowledgeable about everything and I find him just so wonderful if you need help in the store..nI highly recommend Kmart garden City and Sebastian who works there..n5 stars
I have no idea what the return clerk was doing. They said they couldn't process the return without a receipt. I provided the payment information, but they gave me a bank account number that doesn't belong to me and asked me to find the card. I don't want a refund from you anymore. Consider the 500 dollars as a donation. What a lousy company!
Came in today to purchase a ceramic baking dish. Was at the self serve checkout around 10.20am today. The checkouts were very busy per usual. I finally got to a self serve register and place my item down. Upon scanning I got stopped by an assistant ‘Elaine’ that firmly told me No!… Don't! And slapped a ‘go to next available counter sign’ on the checkout station and walked off. I was appalled by the rude tone and manner by this staff member as I just stood stunned by what just happened. I don’t understand if it’s because I was Asian and she assume I didn’t know English that she spoke to me that rudely. She could have politely told me that the register wasn’t working and directed me to the next available terminal as it was very busy. I actually left Kmart feeling very sad and embarrassed.
The chain stores across Australia are very convenient, and you can find everything. You will arrive at the exit of the parking lot, next to the toilet.nnThere are places to eat within a 2-minute walk, and there is a coffee shop next to it.
