Dymocks Garden City QLD

One of the smaller Dymocks compared to the ones in the city, it still manages to cover a wide range of topics and popular books. The staff were very friendly when helping me find the books I needed. Overall a great store to visit

Whilst the store might be part of a large chain, the staff know books and are regularly able to help with suggestions after a few quick questions. Great selection of books and amazing staff. I find that even the store has a nice feel.

Was after 3 x children’s gifts and thought books would be great. Couldn’t find what I was after after looking for a while. The staff were behind the counter talking to each other. Never said hi or asked if I needed a hand which I desperately did. I felt disheartened, decided to head to the book store on the other level of the centre.

Great store and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I really appreciated how quick they were to offer ordering in the book I wanted even though there was none in QLD!

Lovely books but much more expensive than other stockists. The store is a little overcrowded especially for prams and trolleys. They do have author signings which is really nice.

Very dissapointed with customer service. Ordered a book from storewhich is listed on the dymocks website informed it would be about a week. Waited 2 weeks received no order notification, went back in to see if book had arrived. Was informed that said book had not even been ordered due to some unexplained difficulties, was offered a fresh order of book by manager another 2 week wait but now quoted an extra $15 on listed price of book due to weight of book?? Go rot! No attempts by staff to satiate inconvenience caused to myself as a paying customer. Never going to dymocks again.

5 stars for this shop. When you walk in, it's smells like new books! It's amazing. Staff were pleasant. Good experience.

Always helpful, great range of books and reasonably priced for a retail store. I like to go here when I cant wait for a book to arrive that I've considered ordering online.

Nice store, perhaps needs a bit of variety. Ended up getting the book I needed online elsewhere unfortunately.
