Yummy CKT Char Kway Teow and Nasi Lemak with fried chicken here! The milk tea was also perfect.nEverything was so flavourful and authentic — really satisfying.nWill definitely come back try out more next time!
Went here on a Wednesday night, and it was a decent meal overall. The food was good but nothing especially memorable.nThe CKT had a decent amount of prawn, bean sprouts, and Chinese sausage, though the noodles were a little lacking in wok hei. The big prawns hokkien mee definitely lived up to its name, with plenty of large prawns. The cendol was delicious, though that’s hard to get wrong. I just wish they offered ice kachang too.
I got the blood cockles char koay teow which was amazing. They are generous with the blood cockles and is really reminiscent of food back home. I got it with extra wok hei and you can really taste it. There’s also pork lard in there adding an extra crispiness to the dish. The prawns tasted pretty fresh too. The dish is quite oily, so I’d probably recommend getting less oil if that’s not something you like.nnOn the side we got the lobak and spring roll combo which was very tasty as well. The lobak is very meaty and goes really nicely with the chilli sauce. The spring roll is delicious too. I got the teh tarik which is good too, not too sweet.nnOverall this place serves really good food and the restaurant is nice and spacious with friendly staff. I’d highly recommend trying this.
First time here. Very busy place. We had the CNY banquet, the food was indeed delicious. However, for the price, it was barely enough. Hence I gave 3 stars. Service was quick. The place was very noisy, can't hold a conversation without raising my voice.
I had high expectations from this CKT. Unfortunately, it didnt deliver. The saving glory was the prawns they used was good. The smoky flavour was subtle and the overall taste was bland.
