Story

In 2015, a refurbished burlesque house in South Melbourne was overtaken by a team of young kitchen creatives with one overarching goal: to satisfy the senses with beautiful, boundary-bending food.

Their approach to dining is grounded in a deep respect for technique and tradition, while set apart by an unrelenting desire to experiment and build their own.

Incredible dining experience. Absolutely surprised us and brought back memories of eating at Lima’s Central in terms of creativity and flavor. One of the best restaurants in Australia (if not the world) right now and an experience not to be missed. Dan and Orlando were fantastic hosts.

Still blown away with how perfectly cooked the Spanish mackerel was. Exemplary food in the quintessential Melbourne terraced venue. Hops infused tonic made for a slightly mellowed G&T that just wasn't as good as it could have been but that's as far as my criticism can go.

Our third visit to this restaurant and it was just as good as the previous two. Excellent service and fantastic food. We enjoy the experience each time we go. Will be back again. Well done team!

Got invited here to a work-function for dinner, and what an amazing night I had! The food - sensational! The atmosphere - brilliant! The service - top-notch! The whole experience - divine! Highly recommended!
