Betty's Burgers & Concrete Co - Melbourne

I visited Betty’s Burgers and Concrete Co in Melbourne with my family. We ordered 2 salads, one with crispy chicken, a kids burger, a Betty’s Classic burger and French Fries. With drinks the total came to $58. We were greeted by a pleasant lady who said it would be around 5 minutes for a table and brought cups of water for the children while we waited. Once we ordered at the counter we only had to wait around 10 minutes for our food to be prepared. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively, with some cracking tunes from the 90’s playing in the restaurant. The food itself was impressive. My eldest and wife had the salads and they were both really pleased and commented how nice they were. My youngest had the kids burger and enjoyed it, although didn’t quite manage to finish it as it is quite a large burger. I had the Betty’s Classic, and it is honestly THE best burger I have ever tasted!! I wasn’t expecting much, but the beef pate was soft and tender, cooked perfectly, the salad was fresh, the bun was tasty and the sauce was magical. I would highly recommend to anyone, and I’m looking forward to visiting the restaurant in Sydney next week.

Great place to have tasty and delicious burgers. We ordered Grilled Chicken and Crispy burger with some fries and Chocolate shake... The burger buns were too soft and the bettys special sauce was just amazing. The chocolate shake was actually quite thick and filling. The staff at the counter and on the floor were quite friendly and greeted with a big smile. Overall I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Great burger place with a great atmosphere and feel to it. Can get very busy on the weekend (we were there lunch time Sunday) but it is worth the wait. We had the fried chicken and classic beef burger with onion rings and chips - we were stuffed and couldn't finish it all. Will definitely be back!

Presentation is not too bad (obviously trying to copy a popular US-based burger chain.) Although they failed in copying the taste - too salty! I was rushed TWICE to finish up my burger - once subtly by asking how I was doing while having my last bite, then while sipping my $8-pretty-ordinary vanilla shake, someone not very subtly came and tried to grab my paper box away from me and asked "are you finished?". I grabbed it away from her and said "I'd do it myself". I won't be back! There's a lot more burger places in Melbourne with better burgers and better service.

A bit of a waiting line but very accommodating & friendly staff. The food was tasty so makes the wait worth while. Price for burgers seemed fair. However I don't agree with separating the sauce from the fries and paying the sauce separately- it should be together or at least cheaper than $2/$1. Yes as you can tell I am just a fries lover! :)
