Allegro Restaurant

Had breakfast as part of my stay at Westin. The restaurant is nice, very chic. The breakfast spread was rather just a bit above average ... the usual you would find at a Holiday Inn with extra "make your own juice" and some premium cereal and yoghurt mixes. The staff that attended to me was really pleasant and friendly. Thought it amusing that I got a coffee cup with a really tiny handle that does not hesitate to entrap my finger.

Had an anniversary dinner here after looking at the menu, pictures and reviews online. I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. The ambiance and atmosphere is professional, relaxed and can be romantic. The food was also very good, we had the pizza bread (different), Hervey bay scallops, Angus steak, grilled salmon and the warm chocolate fondant all which were seasoned, cooked and served well with good accompaniments and sauces. The service was good but not outstanding and the location is also nice. I guess the only negative thing about this restaurant could be the price although i feel it is good value, it may be too expensive for some.
