Nice place for groups. Good quality all-round. Some cocktails were better than others but that might be personal taste. Too syrupy?nLoved the fried rice. Pork belly was pretty good. Brüssel sprouts were the best!

Went in on a Monday night about 830pm, didn’t have a booking for two but was able to be seated within a few minutes. The vibe was very 80s retro upmarket Asian fusion. Loud music and loud decor in a low lit dining setting. We ordered cocktails which were delicious. We then ordered the pork pancakes, which you make yourself at the table and it comes with 4 pancakes, which is nice for two people to share. We then ordered the stir fried prawn egg noodles and the green beans to share. It was the perfect amount for a later evening dinner and not be too full. $130 for two people was a bit expensive but food was wonderful if only a little small on portion sizes for price point.
Absolutely deserves all five of its stars handily. We had a delicious dinner here and we’re blown away with the tasting menu. We did the most simple tasting menu and that was the way to go because they really do give you the hits. Our server was kind enough to explain dishes and add, solicited commentary. Shimmy was one of our favorite things, but really everything was an experience itself. We sat on the patio with the heater on and it was perfect.
Party of 8. Was disappointed to be placed in the basement. It doesn’t follow the atmosphere of upstairs and lacks some service.nFood was OK nothing to ride home about.nToo sweet. Also wasn’t impressed by the portions we spent 600+ for a lunch of eight and half of our party was children. Will probably not return and not recommend.nPre-pandemic used to be a fun joint for drinks and snacks. Now less.
