Story

The Lui Bar features intimate chaise lounge clusters or seating at the bar with spectacular views over Melbourne. Offering full table service of a snack menu and an extensive wine, Champagne, beer and spirit collection, The Lui Bar is ideal for a casual pre or post-dinner tipple or for a dedicated evening of fun and frivolity all underpinned by class. Inspirations are drawn from the opulence of Melbourne during the Goldrush-era of the 1800's and are reflected both in our cocktail list and decor.

Oh my God this restaurant is completely amazing! It is a little on the pricey side but it is totally worth every bit of it. We went here for a birthday lunch and every course was so great and tasty! I cannot believe all the courses took four hours but it was a phenomenal experience that I would like to do again. The staff is very professional, kind, prompt, and knowledgeable about the dishes that they serve you.

Excellent service. Original food innovation with beautiful presentation like an art piece on a plate. Nice wine pairing. Unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend. Love love love.

We each ordered a cocktail and a chef tasting menu, which, if I remember correctly, consisted of 18 courses. The food and cocktail were great and the portion was adequate. With the delicious food and scenic view of Melbourne, I can fairly say that we had a amazing dining experience here!

Great atmosphere and scenery, perfect for special occasions. Service was great and consistent, though I wish they were more attentive with our drinks to offer us another. I wanted another glass of wine but staff would come and go after delivering food or cutlery without noticing. Food overall was delicious and unique, though was not as amazing as we expected for the price and the reputation. Would still recommend everyone to give it a try and experience one of Melbourne's long-time recognised fine dining restaurants.

Absolutely incredible experience. The staff make it feel like a very special event from the moment you step inside. The food and dining area were impeccable.
