Everyone in the shop is very kind and treated me very good. But specially Martin, he helped me make and organize all the 12v systems in my van and gave me advice on all the mountings. He knows a lot about electronics. Very reliable!! Super happy with the shop
Reasonable stock and prices, staff are fairly helpful but I have found Altronics to be better if you are chasing outside the box solutions.
Some three ago I went to the O’Connor Branch with a TV cable problem. Yes a an older Aussie. They spent some time sorting the problem out and re-attached the fitting. No charge ! I would like to thank them and especially recommend them to anyone with limited expertise in electronics.
I had some complicated issues with getting the music from my office computer through to various speakers throughout the hostel. I went into Jaycar O'Connor and was helped by Martin. He was excellent! He went above and beyond to help me and was very patient. As a result I was able to resolve the issue and all works great! I tried to offer Martin a tip but he wouldn't accept, so I figured a review is the next best thing I could do.nThanks heaps Martin.n:nVaughan
The ginger bearded retail worker did not want to help us and if i could give him zero stars i would. I wanted to set up our outside xmas lights to run solar and asked for advice on panels, a battery and inverter. He told me it would cost too much and probably be around $300. I said that's fine that's what I expected. He was trying to talk around me and over me and wouldn't meet my eye contact. He said he didn't have enough information from me to help. I said I'd ring my husband and find out the extra information and I did this. He then wouldn't respond to me. I walked around the shop trying to get his attention and he ignored me. The shop is small and it was empty. He knew I had finished on the phone and was trying to get his attention and he wouldn't respond or even look at me. He was talking to other staff, taking photos of something and eventually walked out the back where i couldn't follow. The rest of the staff were mute but totally aware what he was doing to me. They seemed to find it assuming but weren't going to challenge him. Pathetic and lazy. First and last time I'll ever go there
