Visited the brand new Apple Perth City store at Forrest Place shortly after it opened, and it’s a game-changer for Perth!nnThe location in the heart of the CBD, inside a beautifully restored historic Commonwealth Bank building, gives it such a unique vibe—modern Apple tech meets classic architecture.nnPlenty of space to browse, with interactive displays and a genius bar that’s easy to access. If you’re in the city, definitely check it out—way better than the old Hay Street store.nnDisappointed with Apple’s decision on the Apple Watch Series 10 using easily chipped material. I’ve had the watch six months, and it’s significantly chipped - a known issue online, search “Apple Watch 10 chipping” - they said if the chipping was more towards the centre of the rear of the watch they could do something. They claim it’s “aesthetic general wear and tear”. The watch has been cared for and not bumped or dropped and has no reason to chip other than the materials used for the ‘gloss’ look are defective. Own a SE watch that uses different material, owned it for twice as long, no chipping.

Newly renovated Apple Store in 2025 and moved location to near Zara and H&M.nInside looks more fresh with wooden interior. I really liked the look from the outside too!

Shoutout to the cute guy Marc who helped me with my pickup. He was very helpful/ knowledgeable about all things Apple made me feel very confident in my decision.  He’s also very charismatic and funny. Shame Arsenal will finish 2nd though x nnThe new location by the way is stunning! Much better than your old store everyone seemed super friendly amongst the chaos

I came here to pick up my phone after a battery replacement, and the experience was extremely frustrating.nnAs soon as I entered the store, the greeter at the door told us to go sit at the Genius Bar and wait. We waited pointlessly for 20 minutes with no one attending to us. When I finally went back to ask the greeter, only then did he mention that we actually needed to check in at the Genius Bar. How could we possibly know that if he never told us in the first place? There was no apology at all—he just repeated that we should go wait.nnBack at the Genius Bar, we waited another 5 minutes until we had to interrupt a busy staff member. Thankfully, that employee was very kind, helped us check in immediately, and within 5 minutes my phone was ready.nnI don’t mind waiting—as long as it’s meaningful. But the front staff should at least tell customers to check in, not let people sit there wasting time. This was a very poor first impression.

I’ve now tried 3 times over three seperate appointments on 3 seperate days to get my battery replaced and have waited over 3 hours in total after my scheduled appointment times, continuously being told “you’ll be seen soon”. Aaron the”lead” of this store is rude and unhelpful, and treated me very poorly, insinuating that my time is not important/relevant to him nor Apple. Typical big corporation that doesn’t care about customer service anymore. I recommend you take your business elsewhere or go to another store.
