The hotel was a great location and easy to walk to the train station and local shops. Check in was easy however we arrived about two hours before our check in time. They advised we could leave our bags in one of the rooms which was ready but if we wanted access to the other two rooms we would need to pay a fee.nnWe stayed for six nights and overall the space in the rooms were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We did have to ask for two extra cups per room as they only supplied one cup per room for a room that was meant for three people. Reception was very accommodating and contacted housekeeping straight away and we did not have to wait long.nnWe decided to have dinner in the hotel on our first night as we had been travelling all day. When we got to the bar to order food, we were told it would be over 1hour wait.nnWhen we checked in, reception told us the rooms would be cleaned every 2 days however, the clean was not very thorough. Only the bed was made and rubbish taken out. We had used the cups/spoon and all the sugar. The sugar was not replaced and neither were the dirty cups and spoon.nnOn our last night the toilet started leaking water into the bowl, however, it was not filling up. We advised reception and they were very happy to move us so we would be more comfortable.nnOverall the stay was good and the staff were friendly.
Front desk staff very helpful and lovely- however the hotel itself was absolutely disgustingly dirty and I mean everywhere. Floors not vacuumed, filth around all doors, lift had hand marks all over it , the salt and pepper were sticky and marked, bar had splatter marks over the sign ABOVE the bar! We would have left and gone down the road but after 3 weeks of travelling we just put up with it as home next day. We did not have shower though as too disgusted! Do NOT stay here
Now. On arrival and check in was good THEN opened door and greeted by a mess on the floor including bathroom. A good vacuum was needed. Back to reception and kindly changed room and on opening that door it looked a much better room than first. Maybe I got an upgrade. Bed maybe even one of the best for many moons. Shower very spacious. I also like the hair/body/hand was idea. I might look around for some. Taxi at entrance on leaving so that was good.nnOverall, in the end pretty good stay.
Close enough to the airport, just make sure you get directions if walking. There is only one way to walk to the hotel wouldn't recommend though. The room is enough, you can have a hot shower which was the highlight. Don't expect much when booking. There also seems to be no way to order Uber eats from the hotel and your only other option is to eat at the Mantra Hotel or walk to a fast food place. It was clean and better than spending 14 hours in the airport.
Price-performance ratio is imbalanced at this hotel... It's not just the rooms that need an overhaul... getting to the required floor with the elevator was a challenge, number keys barely responded. The hotel room door closed when we left the room, but only locked properly after intensive efforts. Tip: check it before you leave. The air conditioning is as loud as an airplane taking off...at least the windows isolate the street noise well. The shower is hot and running...but the fact that you have to stand in the wet to brush your teeth the next day because the shower and washbasin are in one wet area is camping-style. At this point it didn't matter that there was no hairdryer in the room. Positive is just the fact, that the Domestic Terminal is in walking distance.
