I have bought everything from furniture to fridges, washing machines and cookers from Harvey Norman at Oxley. I find the furniture people fantastic, The fridge people okay, the tv people good but the computer people need a rocket shoved up their behind. On two occasions I have gone to buy a computer from this place with a budget of $3000. On the first occasion I was not greeted once, not spoken too even though I stood in front of the computer for Nearly 20 minutes. The Microsoft rep was having a nice chat with the sales person who proceeded to walk off , never to be seen again. The rep eventually acknowledged me and said he couldn't help me but he would see if he could get someone - 5 minutes later and still nothing. On the second attempt two weeks later, giving them the benefit of the doubt, the same deal applied, no acknowledgement, no help. Never again

Bought a laptop in late January and have had nothing but trouble with it. They won't replace it or give my money back as it is a faulty laptop. They still have it now. This is tge second time since I purchased the laptop. They have had it more then we have. Beware of purchasing computers from them. They give you the run around. The Acer Aspire A114-31-CO14 14" Laptop is a waist of money. I don't trust Harvey Norman at all anymore.

The guy, in Oxley branch, whom we asked for help wasn't interested in us and he was discouraging us purchasing some stuff. This is in the appliances section. He was just hurrying us so that he goes and stand on the other computer. He is not a salesman material. Poor service from him. Disappointed by him but not what's sold in the store. We always buy our furniture and household stuff from Harvey Norman

Big thanks to Nathan G for such a professional and fast result. I dropped our business laptop in for a service - it was running really slowly - he had us up and running again within a couple of hours. Excellent service for a busy salon, our team are very grateful.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We have been in this store about 5 times, of those 5 times we have never been approached by a staff member for assistance! We have always had to find them in store. The general mentality of the staff members is a lack of care for their jobs. The latest staff member, Roy, was extremely aloof and uncaring towards our purchase. He said he would contact us last week to let us know when our fridge would be in, we received no such call. We called 2 times and both times were told Roy would call us back- again we heard nothing from him. It wasnt until we told a staff member on the 3rd call from us (yes we had to do all the chasing) that we wanted to cancel that Roy finally called us and informed us that our fridge would be another 2 weeks! 3 weeks LATER than informed it would take when we bought it initially. This is a store to avoid if you want customer service that is at least decent and you want to actually be served by friendly and efficient staff members. If you want a non caring, slack, unfriendly and unhelpful service this is the store for you!
