Although we had amazing customer services when first entering the store, we were happy with R.T Edwards and where happy about buying our first fridge with the company. We had bought our new Beko fridge out right, signed all documents over, and had contracted for a particular date for delivery as we were moving into our new place. We had contacted the store earlier during the day to make sure the delivery would happen and we where informed that “delivery would be estimated at any time between 10am-6pm”... So I went out and bought some essential groceries and stored them in the esky for time being till the fridge arrived. It came to 5:30pm and still NO FRIDGE! No one had called us back to inform us about the location of the fridge and when we would have it. So we then had to call the store in the afternoon to find out when it would arrive and was told that “oh I’m so sorry, but we won’t be able to get the fridge to your place till Thursday”. How unprofessional and very disappointing??? When I had spoken to one of the staff over the phone and had said that it wasn’t good enough as now we would have to throw out $100 worth of cold food out he then replied with “yeah that would suck, but unfortunately there is nothing else I can do for you but to get it sorted out first thing tomorrow morning”. He then went on to say “you are right, the fridge was contracted to arrive on this particular day. Maybe I need to tell the guys how to do their job right” then when I asked where the fridge’s location was he then said to me “the Fridge is still in the warehouse, and hasn’t been checked off yet”.... so I said thanks and hung up. I was then contacted this morning by another staff member saying that the fridge would arrive within the next hour. And it certainly did arrive ! It arrived by a delivery driver who was very kind and understanding, and didn’t upset us at all that was from a different company to come and put our fridge in for us. I find it gutless not having delivery drivers from the company come to apologise for what had happened or been called for an apology and something greater to be done. We were also informed by the delivery driver who came this morning that “the fridge was at the store the whole time, not at the warehouse”. We were also lied to. So we are very unhappy! I never make complaints and I am very understanding when situations like this happen. But when you loose out on $100+ worth of groceries because of a promised fridge arriving. You can understand how unhappy and disappointed we are. also when we were offered no help or a way to fix the solution. It’s a no from us next time R.T Edwards. And it’s also unfortunate for your company as we where wanting to buy more electronic goods from you. - Jaydan

I purchased a Samsung Washing Machine in February 2012....it was under recall for a minor fault and when the technician came out to fix the problem, he found that this washing machine has been dropped and severely damaged and glued back together...On the day I rang the store and spoke to a salesman, he then spoke to the Technician and I was told the Manager would ring me on Monday.....that was three weeks ago, and I havent heard from him....When I went to the store to show them the photos and find out what they were going to do about it, the girl on the desk told me to take it up with Samsung....my answer to her was I did not buy it from Samsung...I bought it from you...no use she just kept telling me to phone Samsung....I wouldnt bother to buy anything else from them...as I think I could get MUCH better service elsewhere
The Salesman Tim is a good example of a Customer Service professional.
