It’s just ridiculous with the customer service. Ordered a washing machine and dryer three months ago. The stacking kit was unavailable and we could not use the dryer without the kit so we had to order one and wait for it to come. We called the store multiple times in the last green months and every time was told by the sales it would come on the Monday. Same story every time when called but it never came. Last time the sale Tom said it left warehouse should be here on Monday and will give me a call but it never happened AGAIN! Never had anyone called us and explained of what’s happening. So we exchanged the kit to a mat so we could use the dryer. We booked it for delivery and never had a message come to tell us about the delivery time so we called the store again to check and was told the items are still in warehouse, it never left for delivery. This has been such a waste of our time!!! I don’t understand how people can be so irresponsible with their job!
Have shopped at this store multiple times and have been impressed with the staff and product offering each time. Today we were served by Peter who was just lovely, very knowledgeable and was able to help us make an informed purchase just a microwave this time, but have bought AC units and other appliances here too. We will be buying a TV soon and will definitely look to deal with Peter at Oxley again. Thank you, Peter, for your great customer service!
My overall experience at The Good Guys Oxley was an absolute pleasure. The sales representative Praveen gave me excellent advice to make an informed decision on a TV and did his utmost to get me the best deal. When it came to pay I experienced a payment issue to which the ladies at the check out Jolene and her team, were patient, very helpful and overall professional in helping to resolve the matter. It's not often I experience such excellent customer service. Thank you!!
I went in to buy white goods at this store. Managed to get assistance promptly. This was unexpected as previous times I’ve had to chase around looking for a store assistant to help.nOnce the item was selected and agreed on , delivery and price was set and I was sent to the check out to pay.nThere was a man ahead of me. We waited a while until one of the 4 people behind the check out counter eventually graced the man with service and he proceeded to check out.nA while after the man left, a lady that had been busy on the phone the whole time, saw fit to attend to my check out and payment. The others continued busying themselves wrapping a parcel and the other attending to a photocopier behind the counter.nIt is my experience at this store from previous similar experiences there that the checkout staff heeds little time to customer service. They come across as if serving customers is a great favour they bestow on them.nI have always found the products here to be competitive, the quality good and prefer them to other similar franchises. It is the customer-last impression, created by the check out staff, that sullies the reputation of The Good Guys.nI may be a lone dissenter in my opinion, but it is up to you to ignore a customer’s observations, or verify and address the issue.
The staff at the Good Guys Oxley, Joelene, Ebony and Peter responded to my enquiry very promptly and help me make my warranty claim very easy. In a matter of days, my claim was processed and within 2 days, our aircon was installed. They dealt with me very professionally over the phone and made sure to update me on the progress of my claim. Thanks a lot!
