I’ve had an extremely poor experience with The Good Guys regarding a recent order. I purchased an item on Wednesday with a confirmed delivery date for Thursday. When the delivery didn’t arrive and I received no communication, I contacted customer service and was told the order hadn’t even been dispatched. The delivery was rescheduled, and my delivery fee was refunded — but this didn’t cover the $100 cancellation fee I had to pay the electrician I’d booked.nnI was then assured the item would be dispatched and delivered today. Again, this didn’t happen. When I followed up, I was told once more that the item had not been dispatched and that delivery would not be occurring. If I cancel my electrician again, that’s another $100 out of my pocket.nnDespite clearly explaining the impact of these repeated failures, the response I received was essentially, “Wait until tomorrow, we can’t assist further today,” and the chat was closed. No solution, no urgency, and no accountability.nnThis level of service is unacceptable. I’ve been left out of pocket and without the item I paid for, with no clear timeframe or meaningful assistance provided. Very disappointed.
I got a delivery this morning for a new washing machine however maybe it’s from their garage sale though it’s just for display before never been used. But it is not running properly. I tried to ring the store but no one pick up call, so I went back to the store and talked to the store manager.nAfter I talked to one lady and the manager that sat on the cashier both of them were nice and tried to help. Then in the end we agreed they swap the faulty machine with another new one. Since my machine was the last stock so that means I need to look for another machine to swap. They said they could give me a good price if the machine price is more expensive than the faulty machine.nThen they asked me to wait for a sales person. I waited for 5 minutes, and there was a gentleman came to help However that gentleman was not helpful at all! He looked like as if I were wasting his time, and he recommended me a washing machine that was totally different of what I had chosen.nTo be honest in my mind I already known which one i chose but the gap is $450 more expensive.nSo I showed the machine to him that I wanted, and said to him ‘I am spending time here again because of the shop was sending me a faulty machine hope I can get better discount.’nThen sales man suddenly mad at me saying that, ‘ I was not the one to send you the faulty machine. Don’t attack me!’nI was shocked! I said to him I was just talking about the shop! What makes him think I were attacking him!nI was already frustrated and with the attitude of the sales man I went back to the store manager and asked for getting another sales person to help.nIn the end the manager went through with me herself with choosing the right machine to swap and getting a good price, with scheduling the earliest delivery as she could.nI really appreciated what she had arranged for me.nI put 3 stars in the reviewnThe manager was doing a fantastic job, however there should have minus stars for sending a brand new but faulty machine from the store and that arrogant bad attitude salesman!!
