Cass really helped me out after a mix up with the hire trailers, which is understandable seeing how much demand there is at the hire counter. I was gas lit today at Bunnings and had to argue to get an exchange voucher for a shower screen I bought there sometime ago… I 100% purchased the screen there at the same time that I bought a bath tub and toilet for a renovation. I clearly remember buying the screen there yet Bunnings personnel adamantly argued with me that they have never sold this product.nnThe screen is DANGEROUS and should be recalled. It’s from D’lucci brand and I purchased it at the Rocklea store however they no longer have it for sale for obvious to me reasons. However they have somehow removed any trace from their system that they ever did carry the screen. In other words, they have done what I am coining as a “quiet recall” of a dodgy product.nnI am concerned people will have this glass screen installed and someone could be injured as by design, can not be securely mounted… There isn’t any structural support along the bottom of the floating glass and the only thing keeping it in place is a plastic strip and a diagonal bracket at the top that doesn’t stop the wobble at the bottom. No, silicon is not sufficient to make this shower screen safe.nnI wasted my time and energy installing the screen then removing it, now have extra holes in the bathroom tiles… To add insult to injury obtaining the exchange voucher was no easy feat and it is only through my perseverance and refusal to accept their tactics that I eventually got through to the customer service agent. This shouldn’t happen anywhere let alone somewhere like Bunnings considering the 1000’s I’ve spent there!nnNot a happy customer.
Great store, but sometimes online stock doesn't seem to match what is in the store, or it is very hard to find in store. Some staff are helpful to help find, others just point you vaguely in a direction which was less helpful. If you see an item with low stock online, expect to have a very hard time finding it in store.
Found it had more stock when looking online for click and collect but to have to wait till the next day to collect is ridiculous if there is only one item left in stock . So i went in straightaway and picked up the last one . . Cause i know what would happen is thsy wouldnt take it off the shelf untill end of day and someone could of bought the last one and then i go to pick up next moroning and it would be oh sorry we sold it youll have to buy the more expensive one. Retail is getting very cheeky.
This is a fantastic Bunnings, especially since Oxley still hasn't opened from the floods. It has everything you need here from plants through to Christmas lights! Customer service is always the best as well. Everyone is happy and ready to help. Ample outdoor parking. There's usually sausages out the front too.
