Probably the best paid parking option in the area, especially daytime parking on the early bird rates $17 per day if you just turn up and a bit cheaper if you book beforehand. The entrance had enough space for larger family vehicles though not tall enough for vehicles over 2m. Once inside there is plenty of space and corners don't present a problem. Most parking spots are well sized even for large family vehicles. Early Bird parking is a bit tricky in that you have to get your ticket at the entry then rescan your ticket in the Early bird parking area in a machine that is not terribly well sign posted. Then when you go to pay the pay machine initially says the full price which gives you a minor heart attack then says "recalculating" then shows the Early bird rate.
Booked online in advance. Number plate recognition did not work, neither did tapping the card used to pre-pay online. The staff in the office were friendly and had to manually enter our vehicle. Same thing when exiting, had to call over the intercom and have them check our number plate. Parking structure itself is fine and had plenty of parking on a Saturday. It was just a hassle getting in and out.
Parked here over night. No where in arrival does it state it’s $84.00 on arrival for overnight parking. Left the car over night to only see on pay station when leaving the $84.00 sticker fee. Cheaper to say you’ve just lost your ticket. Absolute waste of money and false advertising for parking. Don’t waste your money and park elsewhere
Pre booked earlybird parking for 6am but unfortunately there was a traffic accident and I didn't arrive until 7:30am. The 1 hour grace period may work for people living in Sydney but for anyone having to commute a fair distance I came up from Wollongong it is not sufficient. I paid for a full day of parking, why does Wilson care if I arrive anytime between 6am and 9:30am which is the early bird arrival time period? I tried to discuss with the attendant but he was incredibly rude and what he said basically boiled down to "too bad, read the terms and conditions. We don't care about you problems or any accidents. Our have to pay again to park".
Booked online, arrived, parked, left. I don't know why so many people can't work it out. Nice views from your car too.
Bought flexi deal online for full day parking at $25. Camera scanned the car plate number and opened the gantry. Have to go early to find parking lots. Just as long as you leave on time, there should be no problem. No complains!
I use this car park all the time for uni and get all day parking for $15, however today was the worst experience I’ve had. I’ve always paid when I leave and it’s never been a issue. Today the reader didn’t come up with the option to pay, so I was quite confused. Backed out and went into another exit isle. Where the lady on the intercom yelled at me that I was not understanding how to pay for my ticket. She insisted that I couldn’t read a sign, basically saying I was illiterate. I’m quite upset with the customer service as all I was trying to do was explain the situation, but I was just yelled at a rude woman over the intercom. This incident happened around 12:00pm on 2/3/22.
Unhelpful staff over the intercom with an attitude. Booked early bird via phone in the morning and took my number plate cause App is down payment system issue and not linking my credit card. But the booking didnt flow through and person over the intercomm refused to help, and just said your booking is not in system. You have to pay full days rate. Called Wilson's helpline after... never got through... "your current wait time is 1 min" on repeat for 30mins!!
great prices if you book online. just need to make sure you use your correct payment method to get in or you get charged twice.
We parked here to go the National Maritime Musuem who validated our parking for $15 all day parking. We paid at the machine, but then were charged another $7 on the way out. We called on the intercom and the lady informed us that as we took 20 minutes to find the exit, we had to pay for an additional half hour. We explained that we had paid for all day parking and the lady continued to tell us repeatedly that we had to pay. We paid but were quite upset as the carpark layout is very confusing.
