This cinema is ancient and still branded as ‘Greater Union’. It only has 2 screens and is no where near up to date with other cinemas of this era. It needs a complete rebuild.
Old building. Big screens 2 with lots of seats. Light filters onto the screen when the doors are opened. Sounds is pretty good. Not at ridiculous loud levels. Small kids will need a raiser as the back of the seats are quit high to see over. Deco is dated and small service area /candy bar. Get there early or you may be waiting a while to be served.
Average. Could be much cleaner. Prices are just average. Nothing really special about this place.
Seriously, walk in no air conditioning, it's like a sauna! Asked about it but never improved. The mouldy smell and humid environment wouldn't matter what movie was like you couldn't enjoy it. Go to Hoyts at warrawong if you want to watch a movie in comfort but don't go here!!
Such a huge seating capacity but screen size is bit small if you sit at the back you don't enjoy movie experience much. Overall decent theatre and sound experience
Watched a StarWars here the other night. A late session, only a dozen or so in the cinema. The cinema was nice and clean and our food okay but a group of patrons in the back were loud and noisy. I look all throughout the movie for an usher or staff member but none where to be found. It didn't bother my partner too much, so I just tried to concentrate on the movie but they just got more annoying. Other guest started to yell at them, telling them to quiet down before eventually walking out themselves. It really just ruined the whole cinema experience, makes you wonder what your paying for. After the movie was over I spotted a staff member at the cinema door. I asked if they checked the cinemas during the movie, he laughed and replied "oh yeah, I was supposed to do that..." Really sad to see what the cinema standard has fallen to. Guess next time I'd be better of watching my movies at home. :/
Staff were very friendly and helpful. My son left his hat behind in the foyer before the movie and they came and found us to return it. The venue was very clean and tidy, the seats were comfortable, the film started at the advertised time and the cinema experience was very enjoyable.
Small complex, clean bathrooms, nice staff, gr8 to take kids here as not too big and only one door in and out. Ample sweets, ice creams, popcorn etc with the high prices we've come to expect at most cinemas.
Very disappointed with experience in this cinema. Very dirty Carpets and no proper waiting areas. No Aircondtion it was disgusting. I’ll never go there again. Would not recommend at all costs.
Love love love! Central location and super cheap pricing. Got my ticket, drink, medium popcorn and an icecream for less than $20 adult ticket. Seats feel like they legit are gold class they are so padded and comfortable. 100% recommend coming here rather than the huge corporates
