Nice casual suburban vibe for local crowd near beach. 3 - 4 small - medium cinemas, 2  small ones. The best value if you join up for Cinebuzz Card ($10 movies before 5 or 6pm -  currently as at 10/2/18) good film selections, good variety of beverages, snacks. Worth coming back for.

Best place ever to watch a movie. Still has the friendly atmosphere and cheaper. Easy parking and friendly staff.

We love coming to the movies at Cronulla.  Cinebuzz members can get $10 tickets. Some of cinemas are only small, like cinema 6, so we always arrive early to buy our tickets. If you don't mind paying the booking fee buying online is a great option.

New Years Eve 2017/18 was supposed to be a pleasant night out for my daughter and myself, go to an early movie and then have dinner at the beach. Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. I am 66 yrs old and partially disabled and have to use a mobility scooter to get around.
 We arrived at the movies, went up in the lift, bought our tickets, popcorn and drink etc. and I was about to leave my scooter near the ticket counter and get the lift to the next floor for our movie. The manager on that night was Sharon. Sharon came over to us and told us the lift had just broken down with a partially disabled person in there, luckily she was able to get them out as it was the doors that was causing the problem, unfortunately she couldn't risk anyone else trying to use the lift, so there we were, couldn't go up and couldn't go down.
 Sharon told us that she had called a lift repairman to come and fix it but it would be quite a while before he could get there and asked if we would like to see a movie that was on that level. So off we went to watch a different movie (not our Hugh Jackman!) and when we came back out, still no lift. Sharon told us that the repairman had called to say he had been re-directed to a job in Liverpool where people were trapped in a lift, fair enough. The upshot of all my rambling here is that Sharon was the epitome of professionalism and patience not only having to put up with my anger at the time, but another couple who were stuck on the floor above as well.
 I got to thinking then that not only were we (the stuck people) missing out on our New Years, but she was as well.
What happened to us could have put me off going back to Cronulla Cinema as it was around 11 by the time we got out and all we wanted to do was go home, but I figure if anything were to happen again, I wouldn't be worried if Sharon was there. I will definitely return!
To the people of Greater Union, you have a GEM in Sharon. 
(pssssst G U, you need bigger and more lifts!!)

Thank the gods people get cinebuzz $10 tickets, or there's be more to complain about.
Seats are fixed and not adjustable, so have to sit up straight for two hours. Can't lift up arm rests and seats are split through the middle of the room. Being Cronulla, you'd think they can put in bigger screens too. Sound is good. Customer service is fine. I don't need service, just my tickets so I don't care .
