Generally a good cinema with large screens, powerful surround audio and big electronically reclining seats. However one seat we got had a broken footrest that wouldn't raise properly. Some of the cinema-goers can be very messy, leaving food and/or drink all over the place. Staff try their best to clean the cinemas in the short time between sessions but sometimes there needs to be a more thorough clean.
Not a great experience. Staff are friendly enough but the cinemas itself are rundown. Holes in the roof, armrests that are extremely worn, recliners that don’t recline and dirty toilets. We were in cinema 1 which was pretty small. Not sure if they are all like that. Won’t be returning, would be happy to travel a little further for a complex that isn’t so run down. Considering the condition of the complex, the tickets were a bit expensive $42 for 2 adults.
The cinema is not well maintained tbh. I guess they need more staff? It was like about 5-10 minutes before the movie starts, they were not yet finished cleaning. I think the movie goers should also be responsible with their rubbish. The toilet was a mess. Slippery and muddy floor. I slipped and almost fell. This is health and safety issue. This is not very nice for older people. Even the floor in the cinema was slippery. I chose the Xtreme screen and I was disappointed I was thinking of huge screen similar to hoyts somewhere in NZ. The chairs are probably a lil bit old. On a positive note, the ticket was like around $30 with large drink and popcorn already.
Love this cinema. Great seats and parking right outside. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the back spill from the exit sign washing the bottom left of the screen on cinema 6. Gaffer tape will do the job just fine.
Booked for 3d session online, never advises need to purchase glasses separately throughout entire checkout process online. Get there and am told need to pay more. Solution offered was non 3d session in a worse cinema with worse seating, and no refund of difference. Took full refund. Horrid customer service.
Eight cinemas, some with Xtreme Screen and chairs that electronically recline. Quick service behind the counter with kiosks of you've ordered your tickets online or on the app beforehand. Amenities are OK. Easy parking as Eastgardens has a three hour limit; or four hours if you have the Westfield app.
I came here the other day to see Avatar the way of water and I had a wonderful experience. The staff here was amazing, particularly the young woman who served me. I apologise, I dont exactly remember her name It was along the lines of elena but she was very clear, efficient, kind and very helpful. One of the sweetest workers i have ever encountered. I definitely recoment coming here if you live nearby.
Recliner seats in most cinemas, spacious cinemas, however movie and candy bar is rather pricey.
Love these cinemas. The seats are great, very comfy and big. A lot of space too. Always clean and staff are nice. The only thing is sometimes the popcorn doesnt taste the freshest.
Went for evening session. Brought a jacket as normally it was quite cold inside the cinema. Turns out I had to take it off n wasn't focused on watching the movie half the time wondering if they actually turn on the air con. With the increase of the ticket price, the least you can do is turn on the aircon, bro!
