Extremely disappointing experience The bathrooms were in unacceptable condition, with no toilet paper available. To make matters worse, the entire cinema was filthy and lacked adequate staff attention. No one was available to address these issues, making for a truly unpleasant visit. Urgent improvement is needed in terms of maintenance and customer service!
For $27 you expect a seat that isn’t full of holes and all at random angles. No wonder it’s empty. RENOVATE.
Me and my friends wanted to watch a movie once the man that checks the tickets asked for our ID we showed him, once showing him he didn’t believe us after showing us our passport once we asked to speak to the manger he aggressively yelling at us to get out and threatening to call security after we just asked why we weren’t allowed to go in to watch the movie. When we asked to report him by asking for his name to him he refused to give us his name but for all the people that come to event cinemas in Bondi junction in the future be where of a female looking man with curly hair that is skinny.
The standard theatre seats are so rigid, upright and uncomfortable it felt like some budget Jetstar economy seats that you can’t recline.nnCinema seats should encourage you to stay seated for hours not want to vacate as soon as possible.
My children and I had the most awful experience at Bondi Junction Event Cinemas. I took my children to see a film, which was showing in cinema 3 and the entire cinema room stunk of mould. It was absolutely horrific. The mixed lollies at the candy bar also had multiple lollies which had been bitten and then put back in the containers. It was horrible. A lot of attention needs to be put on the hygiene of these cinemas. A waste of time and money and all over a horrible experience.
