I enjoyed going to Event Cinemas. It was very busy at the time I went but I felt that it was well organised and catered to larger numbers of visitors. There was a constant flow of movie goers coming and going yet the cinemas didn't feel crowded. The layout and strucure of the building was good. Staff were helpful in sorting out tickets and ushering people to the correct theatre. I found the cinemas to be clean. I also liked the location of the cinemas and that there was a lot to eat in the surroundings area. I would definitely come back here again!
I went and watched the new Spiderman movie tonight and the experience was disappointing. Firstly the spill/stain on the floor was disgusting so I had to hold my bag the entire time on my lap. the seats were dirty and ripped and randomly at several times throughout the film the aircon/heating would turn on so loud that you couldnt even hear the movie.
Great cinema! We had a great time: the seats were plush and comfy, and we got a goodie bag, popcorn, drinks and a light dinner as part of our package. The staff were nice and quite bubbly. Will definitely recommend!
Top notch service. At the end of the movie Ben helped me find my phone when I had lost it. He was super kind, he deserves a raise
Worst movie theatre I've seen in my life .. we booked a standard ticket which costa $29 per person .. all we could see are the heads of the people in front of us.. very small screens and no speakers on the back or middle. We always book the back seats in standard in Reading and Hoyts they are the best.. but Event is a real shock and its the most expensive among all the other cinemas .. you officially ruined the spider man movie experience for us . Never again
