It should be a good cinema but it's badly let down by incompetent staff.

First the website description of the movie contained a spoiler which is unforgivable. Staff denied that it was a spoiler by email even though Dendy's text is different from every other cinema showing that movie...

Long queue on a Sunday afternoon to buy tickets, made worse by having 2 terminals open in the bar area not the tickets only section. So rather than doing the sensible thing and dedicating 1 terminal to ticket-only sales, both were taking drinks orders so it took forever. Other people in queue were similarly unhappy with the long wait. Management team member, Paul was totally disinterested in hearing about this customer's complaint. 

Seats are OK but not especially comfortable and angle is odd. Screen 2 has a noticeable rip in it. I won't be returning.

I love their movie selections here. One of their cinema screens though has some sort of flaw that was quite annoying - I don't know exactly how to describe it but it's like a light dotted line that goes from the middle of the screen to the bottom of the screen. You can see it more visibly on particular scenes which is quite distracting. Aside from that, I love this cinema. Great location, friendly staff and clean.

After organising to meet my elderly mum there to see a movie, the actual cinema was out of order. Luckily the alternative was a good movie. For a prremier location that is poor service.

Good cinemas. Always friendly staff and good service. They play mix of movies. Blockbusters as well as arty movies. The cinema is a bit dated but makes up by food location. Close to Ferry wharf and train station of Circular Quay. Now also close to Messina - the best ice-cream in Sydney.
