Great open air cinema, location is just perfect with the Opera House and Harbour bridge in the backdrop. Movie starts just after sunset which can be beautiful if the weather is great. Was surprised by the sound quality because i expected it to be bad because it was outdoors but actually turned out quite good. Recommended, although i did not buy any food on my visit.
I have no clue why anyone would give this a 1 star, honestly, I would give it 6 stars if I could.nnWe were staying with our friends and they secretly booked us dinner and a film and I have to say it was one of the best evenings out ever, you have to do it if you can.nnOf course films are a personal choice and we saw a great film called 'Next Goal Wins', if you have never seen it I suggest you look it up, you will enjoy it as it has everything from tears to laughs and it's a true story as well, which makes it extra special.nnAs I say it was a surprise, and dinner was super special, six of us sitting down, enjoying the incredible views as the sun went down over the Sydney skyline, with fab food and wine and pictures that make your friends go WOW.nnThen as the screen seemed to appear from the water we took our comfy seats and as I say had a wonderful evening full-stop!nnLive Life Loving Tony & Nicki Vee
Westpac OpenAir is a special experience for tourists and locals alike. The venue has a selection of bars and eateries for pre-cinema dinners. The view is stunning as it overlooks the bridge and the opera house. The screen unfolds from the water for a majestic view. Get there early and so you can reserve a good seat!
A really nice place to watch a movie with the best backdrop ever, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House in the background. What else could you ask for?nnIt can be a little cold during the evening, so make sure to bring your jackets with you.nnOne important tip: Reserve your ticket beforehand. Buy the ticket. come to the place early, around 1-2 hours early. Reserve your seat by keeping your name tag on a vacant chair. Then leave and come back at movie time.nOtherwise, you may have to watch the movie in a corner place which does not have a good view and may be too close to the screen.
A beautiful view! Cocktails are so good and are very cheap before 7pm! Had aburger and was delicious! An incredible experience will be coming back!
