Always greeted well! Can take the elevator to the top floor but prefer to be challenged by the stairs as I’m going to sit for the next two hours watching a film in a chair with plenty of leg room. I love going during the week as it’s quieter but need a jumper as the room is very well ventilated by the air conditioner.Love the cozy feel and the raised seating as I’m not affected if a tall person sits in front of me.Plenty of old and new selection of films available here too!
I love the diversity that Dendy promotes. It’s an eclectic, diverse space full of options. I became a member, and it’s great to have discounts. The cinema is clean and comfortable. Everything there is fantastic! Congratulations!
Letro Cinema in Newtown, easy to aacess. Cute and brings nostalgia sowehow.nWhen i visited there's issue on projector and we had to wait more than 30min plus no air con working in summer. Lighting was not turned off in the first 3mins...I missed watching important part of movie.
Drove from Parramatta because Dendy Newtown was the only cinema showing what I wanted to see with decent times. It was so worth it. The customer service was impeccable. I was served by Skye and they were super lovely!!! All the cinemas in my area have self serve touch screens and it was so nice to be served by a human. I signed up to a membership and I will be back!!
Whilst it is a great cinema with wonderful screenings, the main business of any theatre is popcorn. And theirs is HORRIBLY salty. It’s not rocket science, and I just don’t want to return because movie + popcorn go hand in hand for me.
