I would like to express my gratitude for the staff member who assisted me with my refund. Despite the inconvenience of a website error that mistakenly booked my ticket for Newtown instead of Canberra, the staff member handled the situation with patience and understanding. Although it was too late to book a seat in Canberra or cancel the Newtown reservation, he promptly processed my refund. I was able to use that money to secure a ticket for the next available show in Canberra. It’s staff like you that make Dendy so exceptional. I regret not catching your name, but your help truly made my day. Thank you very much!

Great place to watch boutique movies.nThe cinemas are small but we'll designed.nnYou can get the usual popcorn and snacks before the movies nThis place usually has a great selection of sessions and movie festivals often take place here.nnParking can be impossible at this location. Just take the public transport

Letro Cinema in Newtown, easy to aacess. Cute and brings nostalgia sowehow.nWhen i visited there's issue on projector and we had to wait more than 30min plus no air con working in summer. Lighting was not turned off in the first 3mins...I missed watching important part of movie.

A very trendy 'old school' cinema with all the trimmings you'd expect. I was actually super amazed at the popcorn and how fresh it tasted. A good selection of modern films on offer with the occasional throwback movie for special events. I great date night spot with many nice restaurants close by

Watched Civil War in room #1. Sound isolation, deadening and surround speakers were optimal quality, however the screen was too high. This made the viewing experience not the best as I had to keep my head up at all times even sitting middle middle.nnThe projection screen itself was also not straight, having curved edges.nnThe $12 tickets on Tuesdays are a great value and the movies Dendy plays are generally far more interesting than Events or Hoyts.
