Listed, it is one of the only 2 original Art Deco Cinemas remaining in Sydney. The local cinema that I have been going to for almost two decades. The best things about it are the student discount and the food and drinks are much cheaper than other cinemas. The popcorn is also my favourite (way better than other cinemas in Bondi!). The chairs in the cinema are reasonably sized but a bit snug for a large person, air-conditioning is great and the top level bar is great for a couple of post movie drinks. The staff are also very friendly.

The great art-deco deco experience to show you what the cinematic experience would have been like in the nineteen twenties. The cinema is a must see venue for those visiting Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and has been kept as close to original as possible with the interior decor changing very minimally over the years. The main Cinema boats an upstairs gallery and is recommended for movies that make an impact i.e. action flicks.

Old romantic feel, can have drinks, affordable Tuesdays. The only con is it's hard to find street parking. I love how they also announce the proper cinema etiquette before every show. That way everyone can enjoy the movie

Good choice of movies with some non-main stream ones. A popular place for seniors and the younger audience. There are regular events such as girls night out etc. The theatres are fairly small but there are no recliners like in other places. Seats are unallocated. Parking may also be an issue.

This cinema is awesome. A night out is so much cheaper than the large cinema chains and the cinema is so much nicer. The food selection is good and for the adults there is beer. The selection of movies is the same as any major cinema. It is located near a lot of nice bars and restaurants, always go here and enjoy my time
