I had a great time at the Ritz, the venue is beautiful and the seating was so comfortable. It really makes a difference being able to properly relax and enjoy the film without fidgeting halfway through.nnThe only part that let the experience down a little was the food. I ordered a sausage roll and unfortunately, it had been microwaved rather than baked or reheated in an oven. That meant the pastry was soft and the filling kept falling out when I picked it up, which made it a bit tricky and messy to eat. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of.nnThat said, everything else was excellent and I’ll absolutely be back. Great atmosphere, comfy seats, and an overall lovely night out.
Love the atmosphere here, we watched the reshowing of pulse only one my brother wanted to see. Before the movie a ghost doll declared him the winner of a pulse DVD set, very nice very nice, that ghosts a real one. Recommend this place.

My adult daughter and I attended this cinema for the first time yesterday afternoon for a 3.40pm movie session. We are regular movie goers and were visiting the Eastern Suburbs and were both excited to be seeing a movie at the historic Ritz.nWe both could not believe the state of Cinema inside the actual movie space.nIt was shocking. It clearly had not been even looked over between movies, let alone tidied up or God forbid, cleaned up. There was popcorn and rubbish all over the place. Empty food and drink containers. Popcorn everywhere. We could totally understand a few things that might have been missed here and there but this was an absolute disgrace. Both of us had never seen a theatre like it.nSo un -“Ritz”y it wasn’t even funny. A big disappointment
Nice cozy cinema. Lots of food options around. Only thing I would say is staff need to communicate a bit better about the parking and validating the ticket or even have a sign where you collect the exit ticket to scan. There were so many older people who were finding it challenging to pay at the machine. We figured it out then were helping out as we could. Exit was backed up with some stuck at the exit gate, not knowing what they had to do. You could see ladies were very stressed on being stuck and vehicles being backed up behind them.
