Good staff but save yourself a buck and head to Hoyts. Far better quality cinema movie experience at a lower price. My beef isn’t with Miranda specifically but event cinemas in general. Miranda is just my local. Gold class here is ridiculous. In bright scenes in the movie you can see the film reeling, the sound quality is poor with the sound coming from the screen not the surrounding speakers. The gold class food is below standard, coming out on time but cold. The seats have aged really poorly in a short amount of time. I can somewhat justify the price if it’s good quality. Miranda and George street cinemas don’t have cleaning crews for their bathrooms it seems. Hoyts is the better option. Wicked advance screening at $25 adult ticket with a glass of champagne and reclining in their standard theatre
Great staff. I brought my two beautiful granddaughters 2 and 5 here for The Magic Beach movie and I think they enjoyed it but I enjoyed it more. lol
It was a great experience, watching a movie in Gold class, it is more expensive, but the drinks and popcorn are the same price as regular cinemas. They have a food menu that you can order and eat while watching a movie!Unfortunately they have changed suppliers for their choc tops, not only is the shape wrong but the waffle is soft and tasted stale, the first bite of the chocolate top crumbled all over our clothes, the staff happily gave replaced the them but they were the same.nThe seats are very comfortable and recline to nearly a sleeping position, it’s spacious, and clean especially the seats.nI would highly recommend Gold Class just for the comfortable seating especially if you’re disabled like myself who can’t sit upright for 3 hours.nThe staff are really friendly and attentive when you can actually find them because the lounge was left unattended for over 15 minutes and you could have easily serve yourself.
Located in Westfield Miranda, 600 Kingsway, Miranda, New South Wales, Australia .nEdit - I have been back here several times since my initial review. I still really like this cinema , all of them, including the V-Max and Gold Class. Really convenient being in Westfield and not far from buses and the train station. nA really good cinema in a very convenient location, Westfield Miranda. The seats are comfortable and you have the choice of normal cinema, V Max or Gold Class. I found the staff to be pretty friendly and helpful. As with all cinemas, food and drinks are pretty expensive but that’s a given these days. Thumbs Up!!
Event cinema Gold class in Miranda westfield was an amazing experience. It was neat, cinema was not too big so we felt really strong sense of privacy, and food beverage services were swift after ordering at the counter.
