Attended event cinemas to see Jumanji only to find that the times shown on the google site for Event Cinemas was completely inaccurate and misleading .... they showed the times for Wed Jan 10, 2018 as 1150 1240 1:00 etc getting there I discovered that the 1:00 session was in fact a gold class session. If your going to advertise session details at least provide honest information .... the staff at the cinema were at least helpful but I think are aware of useless information uploaded by google.... get your advertising information up to scratch google because at the moment it’s nothing short of atrocious!

Awesome local place. There wouldn't be much need to come here unless you lived locally around because there is nothing super special here but still has everything you would want. Been here countless times and never a drama and people in the area are always friendly.

On a recent visit to Event Cinemas Miranda where I decided against viewing a movie there, I still purchased a large cup of Pepsi and a packet of Burger Rings and potato Crisps.
The Pepsi was great, but the packets of Burger Rings and Crisps were stale.
Drawing this to the attention of a staff member and asking for a refund,I am entitled to under Consumer Law, I was refused and when I asked to speak with the Manager, the staff member lied by stating she was the Manager.
I discovered that piece of BS when the actual Manager came out.
Again refused a refund, (a violation of Consumer Law,) but only offered a replacement, I contacted Head Office.
Yes I actually managed to speak to someone at Head Office! I should have bought a lottery ticket as it must have been my lucky day!
They arranged for me to return to the cinema, (I don`t live in The Shire,) for a refund.
When I returned, the money was in an envelope waiting for me,. No sign of the Manager or the liar when I was there for the refund.
They realized they had acted immorally and were hiding somewhere.

First off, It's insanely expensive. From the tickets to the food, you will be spending more than you think. We went on a Wednesday during the school holidays in the mid-morning and almost every movie was sold out! We had bought tickets online which I recommend doing, but beware that it does make it even more expensive, as there is an "online booking fee". Overall, the seats are comfortable and the staff was friendly, but it was still too expensive for going to a movie.

This is a nice, new and comfortable cinema. The cinemas themselves are quite spacious with soft seats.
The toilets are fairly well cleaned and maintained, as is the rest of the cinema.
They have a bar onsite available to anyone, and the Gold Class lounge is very nice.
I just wish some people would understand that there is assigned seating, and that some people book online so they can get the seats they want.
Everything is also a little pricey, which is to be expected.
