Came back after one year. It is always a good experience. Picture quality is amazing with full fps and pleasant for eye. But in Cineplex 8 , there was disturbance coming form top right corner speaker or I might be wrong.
Big thank you to the staff and management for being so helpful and understanding. I wasn't able to make it to my session on time, and my friend not at all due to rain and train delays. The team was very understanding in offering a new session time, and then a refund when I wasn't sure what time would suit. Rest assured, the refund will be used for another booking at Event Cinemas.
Comfortable seats. Need improvement on screen and sound. Cinema 3 have very bad screen, not clean and lot of stains at centre. Video projection is shaky & also not covering full screen area. You can see image noise is less bright pictures...
Absolute nightmare trying to find parking for the cinemas themselves as well as the fact it’s paid parking for anything more than 3 hours for most films these days which run in total around 3 hours including ads; think about it!. In terms of the cinema I also didn’t appreciate having to collect my own popcorn and serve my own drinks; the attendants get paid for a reason! On top of that I was told my online ticket wasn’t validated and I had to ‘check-in’. Avoid this place like the plague; plenty of better Event Cinemas around cinema or even Hoyts!
The overall environment of the cinema is good, but the air conditioning is not working well, feeling a little bit hot inside. The projecting screen in IMAX area is unclean. By the way, there were too many commercials before the movie, which lasted about 40 minutes. Finally, there’re several hairs in the bucket of popcorn, which is no good. :
Impeccable service today by the 2 ladies on duty 3 Jan 2023 for our 1030am session. Super helpful and attentive to all our needs. Will definitely be repeat customers to this cinema.
Cinema 2 needs screen replaced. The top left-hand corner looks like it's about to fall off. Seats are okay. I would like to see a better screen quality.
Great cinema. Easy access from carpark so you don't have to traipse through the shopping centre. The candy bar prices are what they are - overpriced but Woolworths isn't far to grab some essentials before heading into the cinema. Cinema itself is clean and tidy.
Horrific experience. When we told the staff about individuals verbally assaulting people telling them and us to “eff off” in the cinema, vaping, FaceTiming friends and screaming. They brought their poor terrified child who screamed the first half of the movie into an inappropriate R+ gory film. Nothing was done. Never coming back here. Would’ve been nice to at least been offered a refund when we told them. Useless.
The experience at this cinema is extremely disappointing. I went into the women's bathroom, and there was a cleaning sign with no sign of actual cleaner. The bathroom was filthy and multiple toilets were filled with toilet paper, and there was water all over the floor. The popcorn station was filthy and the the first 2 inches of popcorn were okay, but the rest was stale. I went into cinema 12 and the cinema was disgusting. The cinema was filty and there was garabe bag with vomit under in. We walked into the cinema when it was dark so we only knew when my partner sat down and it was squishie and gross. After the movie, we waited to see if there was an end credit in which there was bit after that was done there was no staff to turn the lights on. When I told a younger staff member about my experience she just said "yeah... we'll turn it on when we clean it" Got to be the worst threater I have been to.
