My experience with Great Neighbours was not so "Great". We had to make an application to the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal to have our bond returned. The Tribunal rejected the agent's arguments and found in our favour. In my experience, Glenda Mullins, the principal of this agency was either ignorant of the law or did not act in good faith. She did not respond positively to our emails regarding the bond monies, and she hung up on me when I telephoned her in order to discuss the matter. The agent's actions were reviewed by a semi-judicial body and found to be inconsistent with the law.

Never really had any bad experience with renting an apartment until I made a mistake of renting one from them. - Unfriendly - Unrealistic post contract property condition expectations - Insisted on carpet cleaning post-lease despite not being in the contract If you decide to wing it and still rent with them, be warned - document every single bit of debris or hair or a single leaf in the balcony, because they will, just to charge you for it: - If there is one hair on any tile, include that - If there are small bits of paint particles on the kitchen counter, include that - If there is one leaf and little dust on the balcony (which is OUTSIDE, exposed to the elements), include that Follow-up: - Reported issues at the start of the contract got actioned on ONLY after 5 mos. Including a health hazard. - 2 issues: Window problem and clogged dishwasher still unresolved by the time we have left - “Tradespeople were not given access” - big fat lie The 1.8 stars average rating only shows how badly tenants’ experiences are.

If I could give 0 stars I would as their service is appalling. I am not bothered to write a extensive review as they have wasted enough of my time. They were fine to deal with once you inquire however once they have you business they treat you like rubbish. I have contacted their office to make a complaint about the service provided at the end of lease however the man that claims to be a PRINCIPAL simply told me "Your no longer our tenant we don't care" Great Neighbors will probably respond to this in the same manner as they did to every other negative review! Honestly stay away from these so called "Professionals" as they are the WORST real estate in the north shore. **** KEY THING **** at end of lease lodge your claim into fair trading and rental bond first as Great Neighbors tries to rip you for anything they possibly can. Just a summary - Old Group of people that are trying to survive in a competitive market by bullying their clients with a unrealistic contract! What a joke!!

My bond refund application was sent to fair trading with incorrect bank details. I have told them straight away, but they did not even apologize for their mistake, and told me to contact fair trading directly for the correct bank details. Absolutely unrealistic end of lease condition expectations. Totally ripped off. If anyone who are going to rent from this agent, just to protect yourself, make sure you mark every single bit of the place in your condition report as bad as possible. Moreover, they will come to the vacation inspection with their own move-in condition report only and claim that they did not receive my move-in condition report. So, make sure you keep your copy of the move-in condition report with you during the vacation inspection. Seriously, a very unhappy experience with them. Just gone through the other reviews, I am sure I am not the only one who suffer. Not a surprise that they get such a low review score.

While I know the sale market was very hot prior to Christmas, that result necessarily reflects a very well-judged campaign, in which the value of your experience and your management of potential buyers were evident. Your advice to me was in all respects accurate and beneficial and I am very glad that I engaged you, once again, to act for me. "
