We had the chair beds at the front, absolutely loved it! Great atmosphere.
Worst experience ever.nI am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this cinema. At no point was it made clear that the seats at the very front cost extra. The tiniest sign is outside the cinema which we didnt see. There were no signs on the seats, no barriers, and no ushers directing people where to sit. Naturally, we sat down like many others would.nnAround 50 minutes into the movie, a young girl asked me to move but my grandsons were settled and in my mind it was too late. Aaron came in, paused the film in front of a full audience, and aggressively told us to move. This created a huge spectacle and was very upsetting, especially for my young grandchildren who were left frightened and embarrassed. They now say they never want to go to the cinema again because of how distressing this was.nnThis situation could easily have been avoided if staff had simply explained the seating arrangements before the movie started, ushered people properly, or clearly marked the more expensive seats. Once people are seated and settled, they should not be moved mid-film as it is incredibly disruptive and unfair.nnThe entire experience was handled very poorly, and instead of a fun family outing, it turned into something upsetting and stressful. I believe the cinema needs to review its processes, signage, and customer service urgently so that no other families have to go through what we experienced.
I am am diablity pensioner and a veteran, I was Assaulted by one of the staff members. I would recommend going to Rockhampton or Yeppoon at least they don’t abuse the elderly or vers
Went to watch the new Jurassic World. There was some technical issues happening but the staff were straight on to trying to fix it. Unfortunately it couldn't be resolved promptly this was of no error to the staff or cinema technology has its own mind sometimes. The staff were extremely helpful issuing refunds to the whole cinema room if they didn't want to wait for the issue to be resolved. They then went one step further and supplied a gift certificate for each ticket purchased to those who were refunded. Cinemas were clean and service was prompt. Thank you to the team at Gladstone Cinemas for your excellent customer service, focus and effort to please. We will be back.
Hey all yes the Cinema is open although you wouldn't know it by the lack of people.nStaff are still great place is nice and clean so come and see an old fav we are here on our own watching ET today.nCheers all
